That may work to our advantage with any luck. Might mean we can draw some of the poorer managers and teams in the league into a false sense of security.
I'm looking forward to seeing how you guys do this season. Massive season for Sturridge as the main 9(?). Also expecting an even better season for Sterling.

Welcome back Pulga.

Given the length of your absence I imagine you accomplished some truly meaningful shit. Did you get around to developing that Ebola vaccination or shall Wes ban you for another 48 hours?

m8 its been longer than two days, has time slipped by so quickly for you?

Not just Sturridge. Henderson, Coutinho and Sterling scored less than 20 goals between them last season. You'd hope that it will increase significantly this season. That's without taking in to account Lallana and Markovic.

Watching England at Wembley was probably the worst sporting experience of my life.

My mate said the same, and he spent a cold Thursday evening on a terrace at steaua bucuresti in 2003 while some fat bloke pissed on the steps next to him.

I honestly think our first XI is capable of getting around 84 points again, and we have enough competent cover to take the CL seriously too.

My concern is a potential Sturridge-shaped hole derailing our campaign.

The new Wembley doesn't even feel that impressive. Crap acoustics and soulessness aside - it doesn't feel like you're stepping into a spaceship like other modern day stadiums do.

Just crap.

God was a disaster of a pre-season. Really nervous about the upcoming Supercup :( But it looks like Kroos and James will be starting so cock is at half-mast.
No shame in losing to the Gaalacticos. We were too good for any of the teams in that pre-season tournament. Especially with AY18 on form ;)

------------ Benzema ----------

Ronaldo ----- James --------- Bale

Dat front 4 :O

pahahahah

I remember the playoff final I was trying to talk to the geeza in front of me about Nahki Wells and they were blaring Swedish House Mafia or some shit louder than is comfortable for any human. Who the fuck runs that place, somebody who has never been to football more than twice I reckon

And you have to go to Wembley. Thankfully I get the overground so miss most of the painful travel

"Another 48 hours" in that context means a ban on top of your previous one, not a literal recreation of a previous 48 hour ban.

Don't worry mate, you've learnt so many languages I don't expect you to master them.

What about the midfield two though... Kroos and Modric are too good for the bench, but starting them both would be suicide :/ Then again, Alonso seems to be on his last legs and Khedira can do one. Not even gonna speculate about Di Maria, fuck knows what's gonna happen there.

Wembley its self is a shite hole. Normally drink in the 'Spoons before the NFL and it's a decent crack. Went their for England, skinheads, neck tattoos and tight fit, short sleave gingham check everywhere.

Highlight when some 40 year old midlife crises hooligan hoisting his 10 year old son on to a table so he could lead the pub in a chorus of '10 German bombers'.

That or the Chelsea YOOF stood next to be filming the whole thing with his iPhone decked out in an Oli Murs case.

Our squad is, in paper, the weakest of the current top 4. But that was the case last season too, and look where we ended up.

I feel there is something missing from your squad this season compared to last.

Can't quite put my finger on it.

Yes Arnie, our whole team is missing from last season

He's done well when paired with Sturridge or Suarez, but I've never seen him used as a lone striker.

To be fair though, the lad could probably do a job everywhere except GK, and maybe CB.
Played up top in the second half of Rodgers first Merseyside Derby. I reckon he would be a top false 9, like Suarez was in Brendan's first 6 months.

We have Brendan. We're going to win the league. #GTIYH

Getting out was pretty painless because City seemingly only sold half their allocation (71000 attendance? really?) and they had cleared off by the final whistle. Not quite as bad as the zombie shuffle down Gillespie Road and Arsenal tube after home games.

The squad? Nah, Liverpool's overall squad is now much stronger than Arsenal's, who tend to always run fairly slim. It's the first XI that's Liverpool's relative weakness now.

They've done well in pre-season, scoring goals too. Hopefully they don't carry it into the season start ;)

Has Markovic even played a game this pre-season?

You'll always have moments during the season where Django will go cold in front of goal. That's when you'll need the others to contribute. Last season, when Sturridge wasn't scoring, Suarez was and vice versa.

Christ I had to do that after the FA Cup game last season. Was a fucking nightmare.

England fans really are the worst. :/

Worst I had was some our chav fans at Brizzle who were part of the no pyro no party fucking muppets

Hate those shitehawks so much. Take your bloody flares somewhere else you scum

At least it's better than old Wembley.

hahahahahah

Yeah Markovic played against Olympiakos and looked really sharp. Probably won't be risked against S'hampton but should be fit afterwards.

Time for the 70m man Illaramendri to step up :P

No idea how Carlo will set the team up. If you play 433, One of the main 4 will be out of position. Di Maria was perfect in the midfield 3 but it looks likes he'll leave, eventually.

pulga i've missed you. where's wilbury?

we need him before the season starts. we need to be properly united to have fun and call each other names <3

Finished Code Veronica, now it's the for my grounded playthrough with TLOU :x

Fucking hell, Gamescom is right around the corner.
It's time for some new announcements from Sony.
