It's well paced, self contained, cheesy fun

Bumps along nicely, decent set of characters (and female bottoms if you are into that). Some nice twists and such. Doesn't fall into Monster of the week.

Some acting more wooden than the Mary Rose and everyone looks like a model. (apparently that's a thing for CW shows)

And the best part of it isn't a post credits scene where some mug in a silly hat appears for half a second

Better than Smallville for sure, but by the end of S2 it has already started to overstay its welcome, as far as I'm concerned. The island stuff especially. It doesn't help that Arrow is a pretty terrible superhero. Probably won't bother with S3. Don't see how Flash could be any different, tbh. CW crappola.

But yeah, as far as superhero shows go, it's not terrible by any means.
