Her statement suggests that she endured a long cycle of abuse and subjugation. Maybe she was scared for her life, but she should have got help long before it came to this. I'm not blaming her even in the slightest, just harping on what seems like an age old example of what domestic abuse come to, and as an ER registrar is still baffles me how often it happens. It seemed like she had a crummy circle of friends. What kind of person would just leave her there with a psycho and not immediately come back with the police.

I think we should wish it only for the fact that these feelings of retribution underlines why we need good and functioning systems of order and justice.
 
What a filthy animal. Hopefully none if his friends will want anything to do with him now. Just hope he doesn't damage anti more people whilst trying to run.

I'm watching the Joe Rogan podcast War Machine did...it just started and he's already defending bar fights and arguing that laws in the US are "too tight".

He's delusional. They haven't been together since May. And even if they were together you have no right to do what he did.

Wonderful that nothing is his fault and he's just cursed.

The justice system doesn't exist for retribution.

It understand people wanting awful shit to happen to this guy, he's truly garbage, but that's not really what we should be going for as a society.

Agreed. Maybe he was scared or in shock, but there really is no excuse to not call them at that point.
 
That's absolutely horrible. He deserves twenty years or more for this. Everything about this case is disgusting.

This sort of case makes me understand why so many police officers shoot first and ask questions later. If I was a cop and I saw this happening, I'm not sure if I could keep my cool.
 
So an abusive boyfriend violently beats the shit out of his ex-girlfriend (and not for the first time) for daring to have sex with another man while they're not together; and goes on the run from the law, and he thinks he's the victim. If anybody is cursed, it's this poor woman who has had to endure the torture and abuse of this lowlife.

That Twitter feed reads like an Onion article. Except you know a real person suffered.
