Lots of people have had tragic events in their lives. Awful, awful things that happened to them. A lot of bad people have also had moments of genuine kindness. That doesn't excuse what is emerging as attempted murder or any of his past criminal behavior. Throw in the fact that he has clearly never used any of his past incidents as a wake up call and worse, seems to blame everyone else for his wrongdoings based on his public interviews and tweets. I don't know how you can defend that.

Lets assume the worst case scenario from War Machines end. Let's even assume that what has been reported isn't true and they are still a couple.

Most people walk home and say, see their girlfriend banging another dude and they probably either curse them out or at worse punch the dude around a bit and leave.

What this guy apparently did was beat two people, at least one within an inch of their life and assaulted her with a deadly weapon. Even if one had a gun or a knife what seems to have happened to her body cannot be excused as self defense.

Under no circumstance can I sympathize with that. Especially when clearly this relationship has been unstable for a long time and the attacker has continued pursuing it.
