Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread 12: Gwah, hah. Welcome to the Bowser's game.

Every time I return to this thread it just feels like it's gotten crazier!! Haha

So are you guys playing stuff on your 3DS/Wii U to keep you entertained until Smash or exercising the other systems or not playing much at all?
I'm hitting up my PS4 mostly and haven't been touching my nintendo consoles until Smash hits and then they might be all I play
Same here. I'll be playing Destiny on PS4 in September up until Smash comes out, but right now I'm about 3/4 Kid Icarus: Uprising and loving it. Best part about it is the controls are so uncomfortable for me, that I have to pace myself and not beat it in one sitting.

Eh, meh update. At least I got a good deal on a dress while at the mall today.

One of my impossible dreams is third-party music outside of the specific series which are represented by fighters. For example, with Sega on board, the music of Bayonetta, SMT, Outrun, Madworld, Afterburner and countless others could find their way in; with Capcom and Konami's back catalogue offering even more. But additional licensing issues would probably put an end to that...

I guess they've been fairly liberal with general Namco stuff - maybe hoping for some Ace Combat music would be slightly more realistic?

Playing a ridiculous number of Virtual Console games as well as Shovel Knight (repeatedly) and Mario Kart 8 on my Wii U, Tomodachi Life and soon Theatrhythm Curtain Call on my 3DS, The Last of Us Remastered on my PS4, and Hatsune Miku: Project Diva F on my PS3.

It's not enough, though... I NEED SMASH ALREADY.

Upon Lucina and Robin's reveal I felt compelled to finally finish Fire Emblem: Awakening (An excellent game that's a MUST for anyone who owns a 3DS, by the way), and right now I'm doing the very same with Kid Icarus Uprising, after seeing how much Sakurai is taking from it here. Chapter 8 as we speak.

I also got myself Rhythm Heaven Fever and Xenoblade Chronicles in anticipation for their respective newcomers :P

I have Diablo 3 UEE, Plants vs Zombies Garden Warfare, and inFamous First Light in my near future and I feel the same way!! Haha the Smash void cannot be filled

I want a pic of the day to be a Metal Gear box with no explanation so SmashGAF goes into a frenzy about whether it's Snake's taunt or an item or something else entirely.

...you did write that Fanfiction, right? Not that I'm expecting a straight answer...
I just saw that, and no, I honestly did not write that. Kind of mortified you think I would have characters speak together in the same paragraph like that, or fail to put commas before quotations marks at the end of quotes followed by "he said" or "she said," and fail to spell out numbers less than 10, as per AP style. Also, I was a good girl in high school and didn't throw punches wearing brass knuckles or whatever. Also never went punk.

Nice to see Wobbles still enjoying Melee

Mega Man is one of those series that just has wonderful music everywhere.

Spark Man's got my favorite stage theme.
Yeah, can't really go wrong.

I feel Planet Wisp would fit even better, seeing as they're both "Verdant Hill" trope stages.
Both would be great! Planet Wisp is one of my favorite themes from the entire series and also appeared on a Nintendo console, increasing its odds of showing up in Smash.

Haha, I apologize.

I just want to say thanks again to everyone who recommended Cromartie High. First serialized anime I've really loved since FLCL back when I was in high school. I can't get enough of this. :-D
