Not had any decent card to help me progress further now for something like 200 games. Guess the only way to move forward now is to pay up. Which sucks.

Jey Uso is my current champ since he's the first Super Rare I got. The other Super Rare is Alberto Del Rio (lol!). Also have a Rare Eva Marie who's killing it on the Divas side. Having a Rare/Super Rare Diva is great.

Your name made me think... It'd be kinda cool to have these really wacky rare cards filled with hilarious/infamous jobbers/gimmicks (Mantaur, Bastion Booger, Yeti, Gobbly Gooker, etc.). Kinda like the Cactus from FF, they'd be ridiculously strong. I'd love to steamroll people with the Shock Master.

What does making a card as "champion" do?
Currently rolling with a Rare Roman Reigns (C), Rare Batista, Rare Miz, Super-Rare Sina and Rare AJ Lee. AJ is my trump card, destroys pretty much everyone.

I went 15-0 in my King of the Ring and then the game decided to be stupid with simulations. "Toughness/Power Solo Match-up", let's see... Triple H (240+) or Adam Rose (150+), who to send it? Yup, they send in Adam Rose. Thank you for the bad simulation, 2K. Triple H is in the first slot, so no idea why they would force my team to use the shittier wrestler.

What the fuck, I've still only got one Super rare
King of the ring has 45 matches to qualify so rounding it off, to even quality will take around 45 hours, then once u get in , its another 3 hrs. So basically 48 hours for 1 king of the ring tournament if you win.
Anyone seen any Paige cards? I'm almost Ultra Rare level and still nothing
You can look through all the cards in the card catalog, no Paige. The roster is about as outdated as the video games usually are, which leads me to believe this is the 2k15 roster.

Wow that sucks. I also just found out that the level after Super Rare is not Ultra Rare, but Super Rare+, which doesn't give you access to any new cards. So I'm pretty much done with this game
Also, you can't erase your champion, so you could use it if you had one card who you are afraid to erase
I doubt it, this game has big john studd for example, which only was included on 2k14 to had the semi main event of wrestlemania I in the story mode.
I'm sure that paige will be in the game. Also, no signs of Sting or CM Punk who are already confirmed for 2k15

2K has said they'll do regular updates to the game to add new cards and roster members.

It's odd some of the people who made it into different tiers. For instance Erick Rowan makes it all the way to Legendary but Luke Harper doesn't make it past Rare

Just to make sure, if I max out a common Pro card to its highest level, can I combine that Pro card with another Pro card of the same level?

You can't combine two pro cards, they're stuck. I made the same mistake.
How does the online actually work in this?
One thing I have noticed playing exhibition over 200+ games is that I have never had a player dropout on me or disconnect which seems odd?
Testing this, if you leave the App on the choose opponent screen for a good deal of time then select an opponent the match starts as normal immediately?

I'm pretty sure you're not actually playing anyone in realtime. The AI just plays cards the person owns. Could be wrong, but that's what I gathered.
I get that but then how does the win/loss stuff work?
You never add a loss or a win to the person you're challenging; only yourself.
So if I challenge you and win, I get a win added to my record. You do not get a loss added to your record. If I lose, same deal.

I'm sitting at 22% battery with no access to a charger and I have a crucial KOTR match coming up. I should be grinding for powerups right now but I can't :/
I am 19-2 in the tournament I am in. Full stamina for my "starters" and enough power-ups for the actual tournament to place high enough for whatever rewards they provide. The rewards will be the deciding factor of how much I play in the future.

I really wish KOTR was shorter. I started one after only a few games and have very few good cards. Luckily It seems most of the competition also has shit cards with the exception of a few players. It looks like it will be impossible to win this but I'm currently in 3rd due to a number of players not refilling stamina.

I'm banking on this being my best opportunity to place highly because I feel all the people with high powered cards and in-app purchases are going to take over next round. Unless you're matched up with other people in your rarity tier, I'm not sure.

Got to super rare+ tier.
I feel like im at the stage of the game where it's trying to force me to buy cards due to tediousness,

The only thing I want is a better Divas card. I had to max out two uncommon Summer Raes and combine them to be competitive. I am 250+ wins and 30 or so losses. I typically lose due to speed (Andre, Triple H, Cena, McMahon, Big Show super rares don't have any speed) or was losing due to my diva. Only time I lose now is when someone has a super rare diva.

Just caught this thread. So is this like those other pay-to-win CCG mobile games where you either grind like hell to earn the good cards or pay for packs? Stuff like the Transformers card game, the GI Joe one, Star Wars, etc?
I did the Transformers one for a little while and ended up with a pretty good deck, but it took months of play to do it for free and a lot of constant grinding in their week long events. I was unemployed at the time still looking for work, so I had the spare time. If this WWE game is anything like that, I won't have nearly the time to spare.

the game doesn't need that much grinding since you always drop cards, and overall you could had a good chunk of rare cards very quick, plus the curve of difficulty is fair since you will rarely find people with way better cards than you since leagues are determined by your actual deck
Give it a try, it's a hit or miss game, people gets addicted because it's easy to get cards and the matches are like 30 seconds of length
