PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | August 2014

"Penetrate" has not only that meaning:
http://dictionary.reference.com/browse/penetrate

EDIT:
Honestly i don't think that anyone here says: "let's make some penetration!" instead of "let's make some sex!", it would be ridiculous imo lol, so it's all your dirty mind fault! :P
Ouch, I think the problem is that it isn't uncommon in Spanish. It's not my dirty mind, it's my dirty native language!
And I'm not sure if the translation makes me want to play the Asian version or evade it... I'm so confused right now.

That's great, there is my suggestion in the place of Ragnarok Odyssey Ace for now. The gameplay is not as fast-paced as Ragnarok Odyssey, but the gameplay is much more refined.

I took your advice and downloaded the Toukiden demo. About to start it now. I already played the Ragnarok demo, so I guess I'll compare them. I've read that Toukiden has a better story/world. Or at least the fan impression I've seen said this.

PC is getting Guacamelee STCE.

PS3 and Vita

Toukiden is great. Not even comparable to RO, it's a much better game. The expansion should be fantastic, they're adding a lot of new stuff.

SAO, the only game I've restarted due to me reformatting my Vita without uploading the save file to the PS+ cloud yet I basically accepted it and now I've progressed faster than my earlier save. I've created a new Asia PSN account just to try and enjoy the DLCs.

Please take note that this game is a JRPG at its best and at its worst. The sort of complex battle system both button mashers and combo masters can enjoy, tons of content not including the DLCs and a huge world to explore for a handheld game. The sleep (suspend?) capabilities of the Vita shines for this game since this is such a huge game. Yet it also has problems, It is grindy and has the typical JPN fanservice which can delight or disgust you. This game is not for the person who hates long ass JRPGs, or for those who are extremely "reactive" to fanservice.

Personally I bought it since all I have been buying at retail are Bandai Namco games (LOL). No, I bought it since Conception 2 quite soured my taste for JRPGs ( If not for the congratulations jingle I should have dropped it a long time before). Now I'm thanking myself for doing it or I have long shifted to PC gaming.

Great post, pretty much sums up my thoughts on it. Pretty fair overall assessment of what to expect from the game.

Possibly. (Hell, any good sales numbers for a Vita titles can help).
SAO is coming out because asian team translated and they did that because of anime popularity.

Tales of Heart R is because of SCE..

GE2? Ain't happening, D3 Publishers did the last one in NA

Digimon ? Waiting on rumble numbers probably.

All is assumed.

Literally none of that contradicts what I said.

Though on the last 2, I don't know. I have a good feeling about one. The other, not so much. (though I hope for both lol)

sounds reasonable

For all of the times that they've done the PSN Play promotions over the last few years, I think this is the first time that I haven't bothered to get any of the games.

You're making a mistake with that, Hohokum is excellent. Rogue Legacy is a classic, and The Swapper is pretty awesome!

yes
i got 300k in table top racing drift mode

I would appreciate if you sold me on the game, I haven't read any impressions..

Even if it's great, there's a Toukiden Ultimate coming out. Should hold onto that.

It'll hardly be localized within 5~6 months, tho. Toukiden Vanilla is a good buy if found for a good price - can't really recommend it at full price nowadays, with online dead and all.

Bandai Namco owns D3 Publisher btw.

So were all waiting for Burst version still or never.

I doubt it, it should come around last time it did this year. Since over half will already be translated, it should take less time.

If anything to go by this

Well, a Feb release is what I had in mind - around 6 months after JP release, instead of the 8 months taken on vanilla, and a year after the first one launched.
Maybe it's doable in less time, but another Feb release seems reasonable.

Let me know if you enjoyed it. It's slower, but the combat is tighter.

Gravity Crash Ultra seems very similar to the PSP version but obviously in higher res. The bloom on the 'vector' outlines seems a bit overdone, so the ships aren't as clearly defined as the PSP.

My biggest problem is the controls though. On PSP it was X for thrust, right shoulder for fire. This worked well as you had to thrust regularly and with finesse as you flew around the caves, and your thumb was resting on the X button. Then a few taps of the shoulder when you wanted to fire.

On Gravity Crash Ultra on Vita, it is the other way around - Right shoulder for thrust, and X for fire. And you can't change it. And I don't think I can get used to it.

Although I'm kind of happy to support JAW and anyone that produces good cave flyers, I think I might actually stick with the PSP version (which works fine on Vita). I hope JAW patch it to at least give me the option of reversing the controls though..

Finally got that asshole of a trophy in R&C, the one when you have to clear the race within 1:35. I'm 100% sure it was 1:36 on PS2, and that changes a lot as I got 1:35:something at least 4 times before nailing it :<

Is it 1:1 content with the PSP release? I was interested but actually I don't if I want to double dip on the same game I already own for the same console

Likely won't be a Burst version. The free DLC released up to now increases the total game size to near Vita cart capacity. There's not really room for another cart release with additional content on top of all that in the same vein as the original GEB.

Last hope has been long shattered.

The enhanced version of the best selling game on Vita will surely convince Sony to start manufacturing 8gb carts.
Surely.

They could always include all of the DLC as codes.

Didn't Killzone get a patch to reduce file size? Maybe with all the DLC baked in they could get the file size lower and add more content. I think it's the top selling Vita game. I imagine the effort to bundle and add a bit is small enough compared to potential sales on Burst.

You evil, evil, person. Don't lie to these people and make them despair after getting it digitally thinking that their 4gB cards are still enough. :(

The game is 4333 MB with all DLCs + Another Episode.
It's 4327 MB without anything.

Edit: Also, the "We Expanded Our Games with Burst In Name Alliance" has agreed to not do upgraded/complete versions.

There won't be Senran Kagura 2 Burst. And there won't be a God Eater 2 Burst.

GE2's Append package (which is what GE Burst is) is Another Episode and released as DLC.
Kagura 2's Burst, on the other hand, is a DLC about 5 missions + costumes/accessories.

Oh, I don't have the digital version. I have the cart version and my home screen icon says 970mb for patches.

I thought game sizes on the store were updated when patches came out. But if that isn't the case then yeah chances of an enhanced version are near 0 (they've basically given us all the would-be "Burst" content through free DLC and AE anyways). Would make more sense to just make more paid DLC instead of reselling a cart copy of the game with DLC vouchers for new content.
