A lot of the reviews will have spoilers in them too, just to let you know. It's almost impossible to talk about the premise of the game's story without spoiling what happens in episode 14.

Lol, I've sounded bias enough here already, I figured not including the one 'bad' review so far would make me seem even worse.
I find really hypocritical that a person like Yoshida after deciding to kill Vita first shows on a tweet his Vita games saying that he's going play on a the plane and then saying that Vitabros are so hardcore that don't need anything because they are omniscient.
Honestly i would prefer him to stay completely silent or at least being sincere saying that he couldn't care less of Vita.
People are not not so stupid to believe to these pathetic attempts to avoid the inevitable hate he totally deserves.
I can't do anything else other than despising him.
I stopped reading that review when he cited one of his major problems with the game being that the anime was not as good as another anime. Talking about problems with SAO post episode 14 in a review of a game that only takes into account pre episode 14, really?
Anyway, I haven't been this impatient for a PSN store update in a while. I wish the script in SAO had been better, but I have been itching for an MMO type combat system recently, coming dangerously close to reinstalling WoW a few times (which I quit cold Turkey over a year ago), and it seems to be solid in that regard. Also been really in the mood for a good ARPG, and I loved the combat in Xillia, can't wait to play Xillia 2.

Agreed, it reads more like a jilted former SAO fan who doesn't like the non-cannon aspects than someone who disliked the game. His complaints were all about the story and how it relates to the anime, even though it has been said repeatedly this game isn't cannon.
His only complaints with regards to actual gameplay was that he supposedly found the game easy and that he thought the skill tree was useless (aka; he didn't understand it).

I don't even know if he was a former fan, the entire first paragraph is him saying how all of SAO is crap, cliche and that you are a simpleton for liking it. Its like he was trying to personally insult me for having enjoyed it, because how could I like something so obviously terrible.

I guess I shouldn't have made an assumption that this game would be well received by everyone. I deserved to be slapped down for that post.
Hehe, like others have said above, it sounds like someone wanted to review the game for a single purpose, to destroy it.
But whatever, it's just one persons review/'opinion'. There is plenty of others now and there may be more later this week anyway for people wanting to read some reviews.

it looks localization of freedom wars is going to be soul sacrifice all over again where we can't play with japanese owners since we are seeing a different version? I can't wait for it to be frustrated over DLC updates and patches that we'll probably miss. the US SS didn't get all dlc or patches. im not buying this if no soul sac delta decals, its all nonsense.
SS devs at realized that thus they fixed the problem by having one version of SSD, all dlc in patches and releases all together same time.

Was enjoying Fez until the game crashed my Vita, uninstalled it.
Metrico was..interesting, but then I got a stage that relied almost exclusively on the Vita's tilt gimmicks, uninstalled it.
The six-axis was a dumb idea and tilting a handheld? Completely freakin' ridiculous.

No offense but that's a silly reason to uninstall it...
Gyro aiming on the Vita is king, though.
And while it obviously was a matter of me not getting things right, there was a part in Metrico where I turned my Vita 360º various times to prevent a platform from shrinking. And that while moving the character to the right. Now that was dumb.

Just bought SAO, and let the download run its course. Hopefully it will be over by the time I end up episode 14.
Saw gameplay of SAO Vita via Youtube and gotta say, it looks like it's a lot of fun 
! After really enjoying the first half of season one last night (watched episodes 14-16 in a row, can't believe how absorbed I was into the shows world. Great main character and equally as great other main characters; loved how Kitrao (sorry if I say his name wrong X(; don't know how to spell it :l) is so afraid of Asuna early in the series XD!) and loving what I'm seeing from the gameplay, I will get this game latter on

Just like with Persona 4 Golden, gotta thank Gaf for getting me interested in this series; was really enjoyable.

You made the right decision.
I thought I was alone. Fez also froze on me and I got rid of it too. I played it for about 2 hours. It was fun but I didn't get hooked on it. The perspective "puzzles" were really well done but I can't invest time in something unstable. Also heard the 360 was a mess with glitched saves too.
I really don't know, but I do know that errors happen when downloads fail to instal for stupid reasons, when the web browser is over-load (like when watching a Youtube vid or something) or when there is a error loading a link/PSN store.

That is odd; Fez never crashed on me and I got.....about 75-80% compete in the game (meaning I (think?) saw most of the games world). I guess it is a random effect that happens with Vita's; sometimes games/apps crash when to much is loaded/loading or when information is over-loading the Vita.
I remember Ratchet 3 crashing on twice when exploring the sewers (when the frame rate when to utter crap X() and Ratchet 2 crashing once (I think for no reason at all :l). Either way, the game wont damage the Vita at all; crashing happens every once in a while, so don't just give up on a game for it temporarily messing up your Vita
. I would like to think games wouldn't be put up on the PSN store if they can damage your Vita (then again, we clearly see SCEA not caring about the thing X(....).Looks like closing all apps fixes this problem. Thank you~

Eh, that 1.5 our of 5 review highlights exactly what was worrying me about the game. The OT is an endless stream of love for the game. The broken translations and fact that seemingly 80% of the "story" revolves around flirting and sleeping with girls....idk

If you cant read that review and see that it is an anime fan who has some serious issues with the non-cannon nature of the game and his perceived notion of how the characters should act I don't know what to tell you. There are a good few reviews out now, I would read all of them for sure.

Plays flawless on PS4. I did have it crash on Vita, I wonder if we all crashed in the same area...I totally forget where it happened.
Pretty sure the save bug is ancient history. I 100%/209.4%'d it

Do PS3 games pop up later than Vita games or something? I thought since people are able to dl SAO now that Xillia 2 would be up as well, but I'm not finding anything on the webstore or through searching.
sao is appearing on the vita store. been there for awhile
