I miss it too, but not because the Bombcast has gotten bad (it hasn't, at all), but more so because Vinny content has gotten not great. The Ryan/Vinny and Jef//Vinny interplay is what made him so hilarious and likeable. Alex is pretty much incapable of witty banter (I like him, he's just incapable of witty banter lol), and somehow roadblocks like 90% of Vinny's humor.
