Still looking fake

Still looking inconclusive. If it's fake it's the best fake we've seen so far. Nearly every "obvious" fake aspect to it has been reasonably debunked. Also it's easy to assume customization was off, and if it was on then the Mii Fighter would replace random.

TeamReal, tell me again why Mii Fighters being absent from that supposedly fully unlocked character select screen isn't a huge red flag.

I'm not part of either team (leaning fake but not saying definitively) but we were never told how Mii Fighters would even work -- as in, if they would even BE on the CSS at all. It's just been everyone's assumption they'll be on the CSS by default.

The theory I've seen is that they only appear when you turn customizations on.

I don't understand why photos are blurry with modern day cameras and tech. If it is fake then it's very well made, but not 100% convinced still.

If that was the final roster, i guess i would be fine with it for the most part. Was really hoping Mewtwo would come back, and characters like the Dog from Duck Hunt are fine for an obscure Assist Trophy but as a main character... its hardly someone the fans have been calling out for.
Also Doctor Mario should really just be an alternative costume, waste of a slot for me personally.

No Fludd, different behaving pills, no wall jump, different final smash, Melee vet.

All convincing arguments on why Doc should be back. He's also incredibly easy to add to the roster as a unique character.

Hasn't influenced him any time before that. You would think at that point they would just give Rosalina a star icon and so on and so forth. In every smash game icon characters are always grouped. Not seperated, however similar they are. Yoshi has never been in between Mario icon characters.

Because their entire purpose is to be customizable. I mean, we already know that they're not playable in random matches, and neither are custom movesets. They have their own respective reasons for that, but I think there is an actual link.

The Yoshi placement is definitely weird. Maybe they want to put the newcomers after the vets in a series, but why is Wario considered more separate than Yoshi? Yoshi did appear in Galaxy 2, but it seems so randomly nitpicky.

The reason Miis are disabled in For Anyone matches has nothing to do with move customization; it's the bullying worry. There's no reason they should have to be disabled in offline play. The idea that Miis are unavailable whenever customization is off, even in offline play, is pure speculation. It's just as likely they'll have a default moveset and will be available in that form. I imagine Palutena will work the same way, and she'll be playable With Anyone because there's no bullying issue with her like there i with Miis.

Most of the reasons against the "leak" aren't very good.

I mean sure, it could turn out (and probably will) to be fake, but it's not going to be because of line width, "Why is Duck Hunt Dog there?", Sakurai wouldn't do that!, "why is it only pictures!" or any other reason that's been posted so far.

Wario is more separate than Yoshi though, right? Mario almost always shows up in Yoshi's games, or at least Mario characters. Outside of cameos, do we ever see Mario characters in the WarioWare series?

I understand that but we should be happy that they would be in the game rather than missing the cut.

That's what I really want DLC characters. If they didn't finish the roster, then they don't have to cut any characters because they would release them as dlc characters.

Better than nothing.
