I'm really interested in the origin of the Duckhunt dog render. It looks like something Nintendo would approve.
 
Thread title doesn't really work. It's trying to be a pun on Duck Dynasty, but "leak" doesn't sound anything like "duck". "Duck Hunt Dynasty" would've worked far better.

Why would the American evacuee ship will be populated with nothing but British people? Sure, you'll probably get a few, but by-and-large, the humans have to have American accents (when speaking English) anyway, just due to how the plot's been written.

(Aliens can totally be British, though. Doesn't seem like they're all villains, either, so it wouldn't be the overplayed "evil Brit" trope.)

Because the models don't match. Also the reasons for originally calling the model fake are the same differences between the official model and the leak model.

For example we pointed out that the shape of the staff was off in the leak. Come the reveal and we see that the official model's staff matches how we said it should look.

It's odd to think that the model would originally be made with such errors. If it was just a face change then people would be more likely to believe it was a real leak all along, but opinion is that the differences are too great for the "it was in development" excuse to hold up.
 
Just wanted to say that I think this OT is the most beautifully designed one I've seen in a while. I know it's had the same format since the starting threads, but I haven't commented on it until now. Also #TeamFake

The Game Boy stage actually being a Kirby's Dreamland stage would explain why Sakurai showed it with Kirby and Dedede.

G&W doesn't actually clip if you zoom in. It's just the lighting on Wario's shoulder blends in.

Four (four!) new Mario stages, a new F-Zero stage, a new Mother stage... but zero new Metroid, Donkey Kong, or Star Fox? Fewer total new stages than Melee added. Fuck off. I've glanced at what I consider to be fake stuff, but should I pull out? Is there any avoiding the spoilers if I decide to?
 
The leak will be proven fake or real any day now, but at the latest 3 weeks from now. Just be patient.

The only ones who should be ashamed are not the ones on #TeamReal if it's fake, or not the ones on #TeamFake if it's real, but the ones who are insulting other members for believing it's real or fake. The ones claiming it's OBVIOUSLY fake will be the ones I can not wait to see eat crow at this point. And yes, saying it's OBVIOUSLY fake is a form of insult to people who think it may be real. I hope it's real just to shame all of you, and for no other reason.

I actually don't like Dark Pit, on the grounds that his silhouette is pretty much identical to Pit's. At least the other characters sharing similar designs have enough differences that you can probably discern them quickly - Kirby doesn't usually have Jigglypuff's hair puff, Wolf's generally hunched over while Fox isn't, Luigi is taller and leaner than Mario, Lucina has longer hair than Marth, et cetera. Dark Pit is literally Pit, but wearing black instead of white.

Couldn't agree more with this post. None of actually know what's going on, no need to jump down each other's throats.

To be fair, the majority seems to be just be teasing. There's only a handful of people from the last thread who I considered to be hostile about the whole thing.
 
Hmm... zoom in does make it look more like a shadow, but it's just strange that it seems to form a perfect finger-shape when zoomed out.
 
Where's that #teamreal #teamfake list? It will be needed for all the crow that's going to be had when
