You didn't get my point AT ALL.so comparing a minimalist art styled game with a game that attempted to achieve real life graphics in a psx way. And you also are comparing an indie game vs a big game from a big company ... Seems fair. Texture resolution being the same for these two games is hilarious... Haha. If you are playing graphics don't buy indie stuff because a 90% of the games are low budget " bad" graphics games but most of them with excellent gameplay.
First of all you obviously know absolutely nothing about me:
1) i play games since 80s, i assure you that i'm used to all kind of graphics and performances, in fact i sometimes find youngsters a little too fussy about them
2) I love indie games
3) I preferred many mediocre games to many acclaimed ones
4) graphics don't matter to me at all
5) I love handhelds(=Vita) so much that i can't play anymore on PS3 and i don't have any intention to buy a PS4 or any other home console(that's how much graphics matter to me)
that said:
1) Counterspy should not be considered a real "indie" since it's published from Sony, i guess it had some support from Sony
2) i think i have all the reason of this world to complain about a sub native games from Sony, especially if it's considered "indie"
3) i have nothing against Counterspy or its style, Counterspy was not the objective of my attack, i was pointing to the performance of Counterspy to point how much Sony don't care about Vita, Sony didn't even care to make a 2.5d game with relatively simple models, textures etc to run perfectly on a console that was able to run Killzone Mercenary, or maybe it was exactly what they wanted...
I wouldn't be surprised if Sony is subtly trying to push the PS4 and killing Vita making indies "better on PS4".
It already happened with Doki Doki universe, i dunno if i have to hope for Helldivers(that i'm waiting).
I'm happy for you.lol. This post. I'm laughing so hard. Thanks man I needed this, this morning.
