I really like her HW design, I mean I really do, but SS design just blows it out of the water for me that I even made a thread about it
Therein lies the conundrum if the leak is real: If Sakurai shows even one more character, we'll know the entire roster. Or at least, a good many characters that haven't been officially revealed.

I imagine marketing is more important than mystery.
If they have to show a character to sell the game better but confirms the roster, oh well. Game sales trump all else.

Really hope tomorrow's PotD does something to move this forward. Doubt it for some reason though.
Sure, but I was speaking more to the experience from our POV as fans, some of which might like the element of surprise that comes with a proper reveal

I find weird how few people see Ganon as viable. I mean the blue bipedal boar with a trident, it's arguably the most popular and iconic Nintendo villain after Bowser.

SS's is more unique but I find I prefer HW's. It just feels more "classic" like it could fit into all the past games.
SS's design is kinda weird outside of SS's artstyle, and with Link, Zelda and Shiek all being generic/TP designs I think she fits better.
It was implied that Impa and Ridley were hidden characters, not DLC instead of Ice Climbers, Lucas and Snake.

On the flip side, I will be incredibly pleased to see best playstyle return if Ganondorf continues to be a harder hitting Falcon clone.

Ganondorf will get a sword, but Demise will inherit Ganondorf's old moveset so people still get to bitch about something.
I don't know if Ganon is that popular, He's on the same level as ridley, 3rd or 4th most popular villain.
Ganondorf is more known that Ganon now.
He's definitely a viable pick, but he's probably going to be a stage boss/smash run enemy.

There's no way both would be the case, as there's not nearly enough space for both sets.

Ganon with a trident would be more interesting than Ganondorf with a sword tbh.
CSS space is hardly a problem, that's incredibly easy for the dev team to change and work around.
Could always be a separate option on the CSS for DLC? it's not as if opening up a smaller menu affects anyone else character selection process on the 3DS version and on the WiiU version they'll have enough space to just slot them in.
That said, I don't believe the Impa and Ridley guy, but then I do believe the tropy theory, so who knows.

I really wish nintendo would change their stance on DLC. It sucks knowing when a character you like misses out you could be waiting 5 or more years before you get a chance to see them make it (and not a good chance at that). That's assuming there will be a new smash bros at all let alone in that time frame, who knows with where the market is heading.
Also said this in the other thread but i'd be pissed if they actually cut ice climbers. Like i'd seriously consider skipping these games all together and sticking with brawl.

I wouldn't be sad if I saw HW's(she looks so cool also), but I still want SS's in smash though, I don't think she looks weird to be in smash, we saw Toon Link so..

Zant was really good. However Midna is horrific. I couldnt stand to listen to that voice and it didnt suit her personality at all, imo. Ghirahim was okay. The voice was a good match for the character but the VA sounded too wooden with his performance. He was reading the lines with the proper emotion but it was all way too stiff.
Good for a fan sub but I can't really say that made me want VA for Zelda.
I like Impa's SS design also but I love her HW one a bit more because it also draws inspiration from her OoT design. Her SS design is sleek and mysterious but her OoT design shows the more veteran and battle-ready side of Impa. I think her HW design creates a great blend of those past appearances.

We have no clue there's no way that's the case and the guy making this claim is the guy who gave a detailed run down on Duck Hunt Dog, Bowser Jr. in the clown car (like it is in this 'leak'), Dr. Mario, Dark Pit and Shulk (along with Mewtwo who's missing in these shots) a month ago.
If we get another character reveal and it matches the renders we've seen in those shots, I'm taking everything Neo Zeo said as truth as well. Especially if we see stuff like the Alph costume for Olimar he mentioned before release. The DLC is harder to really know one way or the other even after release, though it's the same source as the first few screenshot leaks so!
