As a guy who's really not into anime, I'd be so all over a Smash anime. It'd be so good.

Sakurai had conveniently dropped his convoluted Die Hard analogy and was now waxing philosophical about the first two Rush Hour movies and how Rush How 3 disappointed him by comparison.
"The part with the bald French chick was weird," Sakurai said, his well-sculpted buttocks turned to Sakur-cat as he did some man-scaping on the edge of tub.
Sakur-cat wanted to kill him.
Sakurai was always this way, completely detached from the impact his deeds had on others. Not even Sakur-cat was spared. The poor feline, who had first met Sakurai in the Thrice-Nine Lands of the Thrice-Tenth Kingdom, was once an Ivysaur main. But without pity or remorse, Sakurai had cut Ivysaur from the new Smash Bros., along with [redacted].
Sakurai was talking to himself about how he only remembered Chris Tucker hosting the BET awards between Rush Hour 2 and 3. Unbeknownst to him, Sakur-cat was fixating on the Smash Ball tattooed on Sakurai's back. It shimmered in the light reflecting off the Earth and streaming through the stained glass windows high above.
"That must be the source of his power!" Sakur-cat realized, his eyes going wide.
With a flick of his wrist, Sakur-cat's claws emerged. He drew closer to Sakurai...
