I hope the whole composer list was called in to create the perfect rendition of the one song that matters for Smash.

Guess you don't need new Mother 3 arrangements for an Earthbound stage.
It was just long enough to loop, so I extended that awesome Multi-Man Smash song for anybody who wants to hear it longer without pressing replay multiple times.

Oh that's too bad. He probably did more arrangements for Melee and Brawl than any other composer. I still remember the Iwata Asks where that made fun of him for being bad at video games. Great composer.

I noticed him missing from the list but I was at least expecting Wii U version tracks as opposed to nothing at all, he had quite a number of Brawl remixes behind him including my favourite (Mother 3 love theme) so this is a shame.Yeah, he told me he wouldn't be working on this iteration of Smash, which made me sad.

What in the world are you even talking about? The music update doesn't affect the legitimacy of the leak one way or the other in the slightest. Like, not even a little.
But if you really want to read into something that isn't there, a Metal Gear Solid 4 musician is listed, which gives Snake an outside chance at returning, which means Snake could return as DLC, one of the things mentioned by the alleged leaker... which, if anything, only slightly strengthens the leak.
Not that I believe anything in the above paragraph is a valid argument, mind you, but my point is that the music updates don't affect the leak at all either way.

I don't quite understand why Smash Run would get exclusive music. If you're including, say, 3 Donkey Kong songs, but only 2 are on the stage... why can't the third one be. There's no hard rule every stage needs 2 songs and if it's in the game anyway...

I think Afoni's referencing the fact that the leak didn't include all the anime and manga characters that have now essentially been confirmed.
Yeah, but that's from a Sonic game therefore has a chance.
My tunes are from a TV show and some random CD they released. Therefore no chance.

ah super smash bros! i have such fond memories of playing these games with mates although i don't think i'll be buying a wii u or 3ds unfortunately

Kongo Jungle and Gear Getaway being in the 3DS version's track list can mean one of three things.
1. The leak is correct, those two tracks play on Jungle Japes, and past stages may not necessarily include the music that was originally on them in previous games.
2. The leak's stage roster is incomplete.
3. The stage roster leak is fake.
As far as being realistic goes, I rank these scenarios 3>1>2.

God damn, that main theme is growing on me so bad, it might be my favorite Smash theme.
Even though that's an arrangement, I still stand by that the theme itself was composed by Junichi Nakatsuru, like I said months back, and seeing his name on the list is great.

Maybe they felt the need to retire the DK Rap? Or Gear Getaway is a Smash Run only song.
I don't think this effects the leak either way.

Sakurai quite explicitly stated some smashrun-exclusive music will be in there as well.

No, no, no. In the second Pic of the Day, both Kongo Jungle and Gear Getaway are listed with pink stars, which according to Sakurai marks them as new arrangements.
