So, 400 new pages in here since last night or some crap, I miss anything important? I saw those Nintendo Dream scans at least.
 
I finished Triple Deluxe yesterday. Damn, that soundtrack.
This vocal remix of Moonstruck Blossom is incredible. I can also see Dirty & Beauty working for Smash, the heavy guitar part rocks.

I've been holding off on a lot of Smash media (and this thread) as I knew the wait would kill me, but I've broken and just watched this video and OH MAN I'M SO HYPED!!!

If you go to reddit, they're there. Basically a new Kirby color (black/blue/purple with glowy yellow eyes) and just info on newcomers and veterans that we already knew. It also said there's more to Pyrosphere than it appears, and a monster might appear, but I don't know if they're just guessing that or if they actually know something.
 
I like both Awakening and classic Fire Emblem, come at me haters of either type.

Also, it looks like I need to get Triple Deluxe sooner rather than later.
 
You guys freaking did it again. I dreamt that I woke up to find that a bunch of evidence for #TeamReal had been revealed, and that #TeamFake had been blown the heck out. It was so sad.

Now to catch up with the thread and hope it didn't actually happen... wait, what's this?

I promise I will stop overhyping Triple Deluxe for a while after this post, but yes. If you've ever enjoyed Kirby games or if you've ever felt that they were too slow and at times boring, Triple Deluxe is the game for you. Kirby has a bunch of incredible varied and versatile abilities, bosses are all over the place and go crazy at times, it hits just the right notes with story and there's a slew of content to work through once you've finished the main game.

It's my ideal Kirby experience.
 
Using the shield is cheap.

A friend of mine told me he heard someone actually make that argument. Don't know if I even believe him lol. But if people get upset about C-stick, wavedashing, and edgehogging, I guess there might as well not be limits.

What could this mysterious "More Info" mean???
You see the name of the game. You see who arranged it. What more information could you want?

I'm just being silly but maybe a brief description/history of the track or commentary on the arrangement by the composer could be neat.

When I was like 8 and first played Melee, I thought the same thing lol. "Hey! I was trying to attack you!" My 8 year old neighbor thinks combos are boring, go figure.

Perhaps the stage it can be played on, if its usable for Smash Run or even if it's used as a character's credits theme?
I've got nothing else, it is a curious option.
 
C-Stick shamers mainly think it's cheap to use it for smash attacks, which probably goes to show their skill level. They're not going to know what a "rising Dair" is, so don't bother. I remember someone trying to prove to a casual player that wavedashing is a legitimate technique by comparing it to double shorthop Marth Fairs. Not going anywhere with that argument, haha.

Wash your mouth, what you just said sounds very dirty.
 
You know, I used to shit on people who would C-stick when "real players" could just use the control stick and A and win. Then I started using it more and realizing how more options are open to your aerial game with doing any directional attack without affecting momentum.

This is mainly for Melee/PM though. Since Smash 4 is more so like Brawl I don't think c-sticking will be a necessity. Also I'm sure customizing your controls will return so it's not a big deal then either!

But C-Stickers are inherently superior by the fact that they actually have better tools at their disposal than people who don't C-Stick. There's every reason to mock people who don't want to use it for "honour" or whatever.

If Brawl is anything to go by, it seems that it'll be credits for the original composers and copyright information (though the button is specifically labelled "Credit").

so uh mystery solved i guess
 
When you use a technique in a game, or press a button the other person didn't know existed, there are people that would say you're cheating...

but hey, it's not my fault if you don't know how to play.

Edit: Not to sound like a douche or anything.
 
Just so I understand, what are the strict advantages of C-sticking?

I always assumed it's a much quicker input method, not sure if there's anything else.
