I wish Ness would use dragonite for his final smash instead of stealing Poo's move
I wish Lucas would call in a Drago for his final smash instead of stealing Kumatora's move
I wish Toon Link and Link would have different final smashes and it wasn't "slash in a triangle at someone"

Me too - it's one of the more consistent ones in my experience. Unless you're on a big stage I'm not sure how people aren't getting ~2ish kills each time.
Unless you're doing 1 on 1? I can see how it'd be crappy in 1 on 1.

Mario's Final Smash should be a completely over the top representation of everything he does. Different forms of himself from old games just populate the screen with crazy effects.
He basically summons himself on random spots of the screen
driving a kart from SMK which flies in from one direction across the stage.
as Jump Man who runs back and forth with a hammer.
from Super Mario Bros who chucks fireballs at the stage
from Super Mario Bros 2 chucking vegetables
from Super Mario Bros 3 chucking hammers with the hammer suit
from dive bomb a random location with the cape from Super Mario World
While coins and Dr Mario coins drop from the sky. And a paint brush from Mario Paint draws a squiggly line from one side of the screen to another.
Basically it's just a lots of shit flying everywhere that you have to avoid while Mario's just laughing.
And when that's all over he initiates Mario Party's Chance Time.

Nothing much, really. I just gauge the ideal distance for opponents to get swept up in the attack and it usually pays off. It works wonders on Battlefield-esque stages (Yoshi's Island, Lylat Cruise, etc.)

Haha, I did too, but I also understand why we needed to be stopped.
I'm thinking at this point their greatest fear is setting this thread loose into the general populace.
At least in here, there's no one to harm but ourselves.

Final Smashes unrelated to the games characters appear in are a bit sad, yes.
That's why I like Marth's and Robin's, for example.
The only exception would be Luigi's FS. Negative Zone was AMAZING and trippy. Poltergust is cool but eh, it's Cook Kirby 2.0 with no Spicy Curry.

I'd rather her go bipolar for her final smash like in Super Princess Peach.
I don't recall seeing the Iridescent Glint Beetle or the Find Mii ghosts, and there's a few Kirby enemies I can't recall, but I wouldn't be surprised if I've just forgotten.

since some of you guys wanted to know, the 3-day total for this thread is 211% faster than thread 12, and 6% faster than thread 10

One thing I've been wondering is why people often use the polar bear enemy as 100% irrefutable evidence that the Ice Climbers haven't been cut. I'm not talking about Team Real/Team Fake and I very much want the ICs to stay, but why is an enemy from their game being in Smash Run taken as completely hard evidence that they haven't been cut? They could easily reference the ICs with just an enemy or trophy.
Same goes for people thinking the Sneaky Spirit means the Chorus Kids are 100% a lock.

So I get back to college today only to find out that they suddenly decided to stop supporting wireless gaming on the network and personal routers aren't allowed. Anybody know if there's a way to get a 3DS working through ethernet somehow? Otherwise it looks like I'm stuck with single-player Smash until the holidays...

Ike still has a yellow costume, and Charizards final smash is Mega Evolution, in case there were still doubts how it was activated.
Not really new or exciting, but still information we didn't really have confirmed before
That...and sakurai being very late causes weird things to happen. Can't wait for more music samples tho.

Look at the rosalina page, where they show off her alt colors. You can barely see it, but it shows yellow Ike with a bunch of other yellow characters.

I figure that it's simply a case of from what we've seen it appears that Smash Run is only drawing enemies from series represented with playable reps.
In the case of the sneaky spirit I think it's along the lines that if you were to go outside playable reps series for an enemy to punch in the face why of all series would you go to Rhythm Paradise/Heaven/Tengoku? not exactly a combat focused series even if you are occasionally slashing or arrowing things to the rhythm, sort of seems like it's in there since it fits smash run just enough and so the series has something to show in the mode.
It's hardly a concrete argument I know but it's something.

If every music update causes that much delay in PotD, everyone here will end up banned before the US release
