Lucina was a newcomer, but the trailer was focused around Robin because she's just a marth clone.

I don't dislike Dark Pit, but when it comes down to it he still looks exactly like Pit in black. While Medusa looks completely different from Palutena.

I can see why Toon Link would be associated with Young Link thematically, but they have more than a few drastic differences.

Toon Link also inherited several of Young Link's variations of Link's moves though, even if not the entire moveset.

Just going by the Forum Archive, the first Twitch Plays Pokemon thread reached capacity after less than 5 1/2 days. I don't think we'll beat that unless we get a character reveal Monday or something big proving the leak as real/fake comes out soon.

Club for me unless sakurai fixed the racket's hard to hit sweet spot.

I'm guessing Frying pan is diagonal up, Golf club is regular side, and the racket diagonal down...if it works like mac's ofcourse.

• Sakurai series begin the middle two rows (Kid Icarus/Kirby), and Pit&#8217;s rival (Dark Pit) is above Kirby&#8217;s rival (Meta Knight).
• Space pilot series are together (Metroid/Star Fox/F-Zero/Pikmin).
• The bounty hunters form a square (Samus/Wolf/Captain Falcon).

the one I am scared of is

Meta Knight:
1,2: He can fly in the air by transforming his cape into wings.
3: Kirby’s new color, perhaps based off of a mask-less Meta Knight?
4: You could compare his is to a soccer ball.
Announced just this month, Meta Knight lines up with Kirby and Dedede as Kirby’s rival. He’s a small, lightweight character but carries speedy moves. His gloves got a redesign.
^pic: His aerial game is very strong, thanks to his cape to wing changing ability.
<pic: Halberd made an appearance in Brawl, and is a returning stage for Smash 4.
Specials:
His moves are basically identical to Brawl. He doesn’t have a long-range attack, but can attack while maintaining his movement to make up for it.
Mach tornado: Draws in opponents to deal damage. This was a neutral special in Brawl.
Dimension cape: Meta Knight throws his cape over himself. Not only can this be used to evade attacks, but you can also counter with it.
Drill rush: Just as the name implies, he spins his body like a drill to attack.

The whole reason I actually listed Dark Pit in my Character Predictions entry was because I could see Sakurai wanting to let the players play with Pit's Brawl moveset and it would be a quick and easy add. If given the choice though, I'd much rather have Hades. Medusa would be kinda ehhhh for me. I, too, think she's a boring character and would see her as an alt of Palutena.

This brings up an issue I have with the leak. Shulk's render in the leak has very narrow eyes matching the Awakening artstyle more than Xenoblade. Not decisive or anything, just strikes me as odd.

That line about Ridley kind of makes me think he has no chance of being playable. Who here still hopes he is?

There was a "leak" some time ago that talked about being able to control the boss characters in the Wii U version with the Gamepad, and though there was nothing to give credence to that leak I think that would be pretty interesting and as close as we're gonna get to having Ridley be playable in Smash. Also sounds like something Sakurai would include in the game.
