In the latest Bungie Weekly Update, they've confirmed clan member cap increase to 100. People will also have to reconfirm their clan, it seems.

Clan members will need to reaffirm their allegiance after September 9th. We’re not breaking up Clans – just severing their ties to the Beta. Once Destiny launches, your ranks will need to reset a Group as their Clan. Oaths you have taken will be taken again.

Is there any way we could loose our spot in our current clan? I am in NA WEST 1 currently... If I don't reconfirm in time, could the clan re-fill before I could confirm?

I don't think you'll lose your spot, but who knows. We'll just have to wait and see.

I think this will be good for cleaning up inactive people from clans who only played the beta, but didn't get the full game.

this. there are plenty of inactive people who never set their clan so it's a pain to know how many we can let in per group. Current method we have probably won't work too well for the less than active timezones.

If theres going to be rearranging, it may be better to rearrange the subclans by primary play-time instead of location. So for example a midnight watch, morning watch, evening watch, etc (of course the time would have to be given a global standard, cause not everyone's evening is the same). That could help get people together in groups easier as some people in the current system may find that their primary play time generally aligns more with people in another time zone. Just a thought anyways.

it's not like we'll hold it against you everybody is free to do what they want, if your spot is filled and the clan spots per console get full though there's nothing we can do if you want to come back outside of seeing if there's another subclan with available spots.
