So, seems like I have to return my WiiU for the third time. If I pressure enough, will they change the console in its entirety? It's getting ridiculous and frustrating. I sent the console for repair twice, they sent it back working for a couple of months, then it starts having problems again (I put the console on, and the WiiU logo starts loading but never finishes, if it starts it doesn't connect online and has problems going into menus etc...).
I won't send it for repair a third time, I want a full substitution. Is this possible? If it is possible in USA, it's just going to be harder here in Italy. I love the console but it's the worst experience I had with a gaming product in 15 years I play. Fuck.

Yes, by default. There is no Final Smash aura. It shows Kirby with that color next to Metaknight, and even one with Kirby having the MK hat on with that color.

I dunno I haven't called yet but it wouldn't surprise me. It's Italy's way of doing things, pass the problem to someone else. Yeah I think I'll try and fix it by myself (well, I'll hire someone who has at least the slightest idea of what he's supposed to do lol) if they refuse to change it. I would even pay a small amount of money to substitute it (no more than, like, 100 euros I suppose) even though I shouldn't. But I'm not going to suggest it obviously, I'll try and scare them into doing it. lol

I call the smash ball one of those "easy" additions: its added because its "fun", but it overlaps with the basic smash bros gameplay, and thats why its not fun When the smash ball appears everyone stops playing smash bros until the final smash is over. The smash ball its an addition to big for the game and, during a significant time, all the game turns around it instead off around smash bros.

Items can be ok. But, in brawl, theres some that are too much for the game, and the smash ball is one of them. Dragoon (the 3 part one) is another one. Theres other items with the same problem and some assist trophies and some pokemon. They are detrimental to the gameplay. Its just that the smash ball its the better example. Some items were too complex/powerfull in brawl.

Items need to be simple and coexist with the "non item gameplay".

Isn't that the purpose of them, to add a bit of spice to the match? Sakurai is perfectly aware that the gameplay changes with the Smash Ball because he's said so himself. It's much like the Yellow Devil on the MegaMan stage, he changes up gameplay when he's on the stage.

Items can be simple if you choose to only turn the simple items on. That's why there's an individual item switch. I never play with every item after a while and tune that list to my liking. But some people like the over the top items so for them removing them would be disappointing. In a game that already has a solution something drastic like remove all non "coexisting with the "non item gameplay"" items would be a step back.

I just realized something random. Does Marth still speak Japanese only? Would look funny if Marth was the only character to speak Japanese when every other Fire Emblem character speaks English.

No this is about those "gameplay" leaks by "leaker 3." (Shulk punching and victory screen) His story of knowing what the shulk render looked like and his plan to sabotage the leak seems to be true based on the upload date of his "fake Shulk."

No, it's not based on Meta Knight, but rather Dark Matter. The costume in question makes Kirby black with dark purple feet (similar to this art of Dark Matter), not dark blue with purple feet like Meta Knight.

So here are some bits and pieces of info regarding the veterans featured in the Nintendo Dream booklet. Bear in mind that there's a lot of repeated info, but I'll try to dig through and post what I think might be pertinent.

Peach

• Toad Shield, Peach Parasol, and Turnip Pull are all back.
• USmash is called "Music Box Spin" and has been updated to include a ribbon-twirling effect. Seems to have much wider range than before seeing that Villager and Link are both taking damage despite being off to the side.
• Peach has a new aerial (presumably UAir) where she waves her hand above her head and creates a rainbow. (Another screenshot from a different source shows her performing the move in midair, hence my guess about it being UAir.)

Bowser

• DAir is called "Scrub Brush". lololol.
• In the "what kind of games did this character appear in?" section, the last sentence is "He also has a son named Bowser Jr." Could just be a throwaway reference, but there's no real context for it and it felt a little sudden and out-of-place. Hmmm...

Donkey Kong

• Someone must have finally worked up the courage to say something about how inappropriate the name "Giant Blow" was, and DK's custom punch has been renamed to "Giant Storm".
  

Diddy Kong

• Peanut Popgun, Rocket Barrel, and Banana Peel are back.
• The explosion caused by Peanut Popgun backfiring apparently has great knockback.
• Might have a new UAir, but it could just be the same midair cartwheel as before (hard to tell from the screenshot).

Yoshi

• Egg Throw now has a little rainbow effect as it soars through the air.
• Able to crawl just like he was in Brawl.
• Has an awesome death stare that rivals Luigi's.

Kirby

• Has a new palette swap reminiscent of Meta Knight: yellow eyes, black-ish body, purple shoes.
• Side Special (Flaming Hammer) now inflicts damage on Kirby when fully charged.

Dedede

• Side Special allows Dedede to throw several Gordos in a row (could just be referring to the fact that Brawl's special was randomized, but now you can consistently throw Gordos every time).

Charizard

• Has a new aerial (FAir?) where he slashes forward with his right claw.
• Side Special is now Flare Blitz. The move is quite powerful, but like the original games, Charizard is hit with recoil when the move connects.

Lucario

• In a shocking twist, Mega Lucario is confirmed as Lucario's Final Smash. ;P

Did Symphony of the Goddess come to Tokyo? If not, that's crazy!

Unfortunately, I don't think so. :/ Oh, well. We have Press Start next month with an entire section of the concert devoted to Smash music, and then an FFVII Symphonic Suite at the end of September, so I'm contented for now!
