NessInEngland described the single player mode menus.
So now our list of possible confirmation or disconfirmation information is:
-Any character having a matching render
-Any non-past stage being revealed
-Single Player Menu revealed
-All-Star Mode has a lock
-Matching Multi-man Melee icons

Also:
-If a character/stage not in the leak is confirmed, the DLC rumor is false, though NessInEngland's info about not showing all characters (or possibly all stages) would leave room for the rumor to still be correct.

So we'll have to see. But we're pretty deep into it now. We're at the point where there's not much that can be shown that won't ruin or redeem these leaks.

The thing is, when Smash came out, the characterization of Luigi as awkward and bumbling didn't really exist. Luigi didn't have much of a personality until Paper Mario, which came out a year later. I think Luigi's up special was made that way simply to differentiate him from Mario. Instead of a solid, reliable move, it's more of a risk-reward type of deal. And it can be used in the air.

Did he post a picture of the Multi Man menu?
 
Would be cool if one of Sonics Customs is the Light Speed Attack from Sonic Aventure. It has a long charge time and only stays charged if you hold down the button. It gives you liberty to attack freely, but it restricts you from using any B moves until you use it.

I did even toss Duck Hunt Dog in my tweet to Sakurai like twice for last year as I wish him a happy birthday, and get well tweet for his injury.

My very shameful smash confession is that, right around that time when the games were announced and they were looking for hiring, I sent an e-mail to the addresses listed there, in English, claiming I was passionate as hell about the series and would love to work for free in it if they gave me the chance, attached a Word document with several ideas to it, too. Man, was I even more naive then than nowadays.

My shameful Smash confession is that I used to whine and complain every time I lost to my best friend. He had a pretty good tolerance for my whininess, and unfortunately I've never quite shaken if off.

People seem to be putting an awful lot of stock in these text posts. I'd ignore them if I were you. If some stuff ends up being correct they're worth looking into and sharing, but otherwise they're basically meaningless, especially if they come from Smashboards.

I'd also be really leery of the tiny bits of images that Smashboards guy was posting.

Let's try to stick to the primary leak unless something else substantial comes up.
 
The wait for Smash 3DS really is going to be a hard one when the Japanese players will have it.
All of my old smash friends have a 3DS now so I'm hoping the online is good. I want to relive the good ok days even though we're far apart.

Yeah, tiny bits of images basically amount to crap, no matter what. If it ends up being accurate then so be it, but nothing hinges on their accuracy but everything else he's said.

True. Maybe Smash 64 is actually what helped Nintendo start taking Luigi in that direction? He was still characterized with a lot of awkwardness in it. With things like the blushes, and his dash attack.
 
Oh man, 19 days til the roster gets revealed. I must say, the way it looks right now (without any "leaked" characters") I really like it, except for the obvious omission of the Mother representation, of course. As long as Ness, Lucas or both are in the roster, I'll have zero complaints about it.

And of course I expect tons more of unannounced content to be discovered.

Yeah, but 19 days is the absolute, worst case scenario of when we'll know. For me, it's more exciting that sometime in the next 19 days we'll be getting another newcomer trailer! I'm calling it: tomorrow they'll announce a Direct for Tuesday.

...at least, I hope so.
 
Yeah, there's no chance we won't know the entire roster before the game comes out officially in Japan. There's always a store selling it early and always someone posting pictures and video a week or so before it's out.
 
I remember spending the entire of my senior year programming class the day Brawl news started leaking, looking up everything with my friends.

Good times, brings back all the hype and excitement we had. One of my friends was so hyped that Diddy was in the game. I was hyped for Charizard and Dedede.
