Not expecting much with this at all, although it does sound like a 15 year compilation.

Wasn't even motivated to get and listen to MMLP2, since the singles didn't grab me at all.

Em's best songs in the last decade are both still the two tracks with Lil Wayne on them.

Im not on the hate train but I only enjoyed about half of mmlp2. When it was good, it was really fucking good but those bad songs....

Still excited though.

Haven't liked this dude since Encore. And I used to be an Eminem stan lol.

The difference between his new stuff and old stuff (since Relapse/Recovery) is like night and day to me. Can't even believe it's the same person. And he needs more beats produced by Dre.

Eminem Show > SSLP > MMLP > Relapse > Infinite > Recovery > Encore > MMLP2

and that's how I feel. I liked the Rick Rubin tracks off of MMLP2, along with a couple of other ones, but it was his weakest overall IMO. I hoping for Dre to actually do something on this new album

But dr. dre is too busy spending time working on Detox

I loved his last album. Hope this one is just as good. People should stop thinking he's gonna go back to his first album

Headlights was great.

When he does go and try to do stuff that sounds like his first couple albums people just say that he's trying too hard to emulate his old sound. Dude can't win at this point.

So I'm hoping this album has the quality of Love Game in every song.

Please.

Please release 1 more good album before you retire. Or at least something equal to Bad Meets Evil again.

Kendrick will release the better album but if you are talking about relevancy, Em would sell more just off of name alone.

It would be cool if Aftermath did release both this year but I think one is a compilation and Kendrick is nowhere near done with his next.

EDIT: BTW Dre tweeted "Bang Bang" and I thought it was some hint for Detox.

Turns out its some Minaj/Grande song?

I'll give it a solid listen. I've never really been disappointed by anything he has done for the most part, don't see why this would be any different.

Anybody with sense knows Eminem Show was the last album worth a damn

Everything else has been garbage truck juice and I don't care how much you kick and scream about it

8 mile came after TES. You are factually wrong.

Going to bed but heard the new song. Sounds like some goodbye world type of song. Didn't like it.

I like SIA and liked her collabo with Em on MMLP2 but this one...meh. 2nd verse sounded better than the first but overall boring. I assume at this point this might be some compilation album or record label mates type of group album. Doubt its his last. His last will be a solo.

It's not a bad song at all. Though Sia sounds exactly like Rihanna?

the hook ruins it. Just never ends.

SIA's voice is so much more better. I mean it doesn't come across on this song but she has one of the best and most unique voices.

Wait. Is he criticizing his earlier work again?

I think he dissed We Made You and Not Afraid but overall point was that he has been remaking the same song since the start.

Always been pretty honest on calling himself out.

Why is the beat so boring? Liked the little Migos type of flow switch up in the 2nd verse.

That song is so boring. He's been way too self aware since Recovery.

He should make a concept album with nothing but storytelling tracks. Something to make him stop talking about himself over boring beats.

Relapse with no accents.

He hates that album so much that it won't happen but he needs to just do another album with 10-12 tracks all Dre produced with collabos with Nas, Andre, and JayZ. No accents.

Bucks sounds hungry but he always did come across as the best out of the bunch. Yes even over Banks. Banks mumbles too much at times and his voice has no emotion.
