cropped up the best i could do in a short notice and then took the photo shot with one of my 3DS (wouldn't let my 3DS view it for some strange reason but found another way).
Honestly, I don't see a problem with this box sizing. I only use OG 3DS systems and it would seem realistic to have the selection screen this size, but I'm still team fake till I die.

Sakurai is involved with an annual orchestra concert sponsored by Famitsu called Press Start, and the first portion of the concert will be devoted to the music of Smash.
They will begin the concert by playing the main theme from Smash 4/5, then one piece from each of the following series: Super Mario, Donkey Kong, Legend of Zelda, Metroid, Kirby, Star Fox, Pokemon, Fire Emblem, Kid Icarus, Animal Crossing, and Mega Man. My guess is that they will be playing one piece from the upcoming Smash soundtrack, but it's hard to say. More than anything, I'm just disappointed they won't be playing any Mother/Earthbound series music.

I honestly don't really remember for sure. I think it may have been one of the earlier OT's, but... I'm not about to go looking through those.

But K. Rool was in Brawl too... as a trophy. I appreciate the amount of effort that went into Uprising, but I can't praise a game that is painful for me to play. If any game needs an HD remake, it's this.

I don't really care about K.Rool but saying he's an awful character and stuff is simply not true. I'd rather have him than DK atleast. (I do like DK.)
IKR? As long as Issac isn't confirmed as an Assist trophy i will continue to believe till the day this game releases.

Huh? I LOVE Banjo, but I don't love hypocrisy. Rare is still my favorite developer of all-time, googly eyes and early 90s toilet humor included. :x

K. Rool is such a "meh" character who hasn't been relevant in so long. It's impossible to call him the DK series' main villain anymore, honestly. Don't get how people could really, seriously want him in the roster, but hey... if he somehow makes it in, I'll be happy for his fans.

Why did the audio just cut out at the end? Pretty bland commercial.
All you have to do is redo the old Smash 64 commercial. C'mon Nintendo.

I've got nothing against King K. Rool. Dude was the Donkey Kong's main villain for several games. If he was in I wouldn't mind it. My issue is two-piece.
1. Dixie should be the next rep considering she is still a major part of the franchise. Her being female and possibly being able to be a partial clone of Diddy are bonuses.
2. I really don't like he's design. Compared to all the characters in Smash and on the leak he looks definitely the worse. He's whole huge potbelly while not wearing clothes really looks ugly. Again personal preference.

I wouldn't mind a playable K. Rool for the sake of those who love him, but honestly were that to happen, it'd be so out of left field, considering Dixie's been much more of a series' mainstay and quite relevant thanks to Tropical Freeze.

Ooohh, I apologize, then! Even though I'm only saying these things for humor, I honestly did misunderstand your post about people who nitpick K. Rool but trumpet in Banjo. Just sounded like you didn't like Banjo on my first read-through. Even though people are more than welcome to dislike Banjo for what reasons they have, I'm a big Banjo fan too so I'm happy to hear you're one! =p

Exactly. I get the personal qualms and the relevancy issues people have with him. It's just there are other DK characters that deserve to get in over him. Dixie being the most obvious, and Cranky would be my next pick. I think he's been deconfirmed though, sadly.

Ganondorf hasn't appeared in a mainline Zelda title since 2006. There are plenty of reasons to dislike K. Rool, but I don't think the "irrelevancy" card has as much merit as you think it does. Ultimately Sakurai has the final say, and if his apathy towards the Metroid Prime series is any indication, then I expect Dixie to show up as a Sticker. Cue the waterworks.
