Yeah, with Mother 3 never officially leaving Japan, he was almost certain to get Roy'd. I don't really care much about the Mother games, I just liked playing as Lucas. To the point where I was soft-banned from playing him against my friends. They should just learn to shield better if the didn't want to get PK Fire spammed.
Ah well. I'll miss him, but probably not that much when looking at the roster now. Robin might take his place for me.

Sakurai has said how many times that the rosters between each game would be the same? I doubt he would go back on that after being so adamant up to this point.

I could see him being a Wolf-like clone if he uses a different weapon than Pit but still has the same move-set.
The popular theory is that Dark Pit will have Pit's Brawl moveset to help differentiate himself from the current Pit.
He couldn't stop him from brewing that.

Yes, that's true. But Sakurai says a lot of things, and sometimes he changes his mind. I know it wouldn't be fair to the 3DS owners, and that might be why he wanted them to be the same, but yea, idk. I just don't think it would be surprising if he changed his mind and put exclusive Wii U characters. I mean, there's already some exclusive stuff...why not?

Gah. As a Lucas main, I'm still pretty miffed that Pit's Black Alt is a character and yet Lucas is (likely) gone. I'm really hoping they moved him, Wolf, & the Ice Climbers to unlockable, but Wolf's the only one that makes sense for, and this lines up with another leak that said the remaining characters were Ridley, Dixie, Chorus Kids, & Mewtwo.
