PlayStation Network Thread (Vita/PS3/PS4) | August 2014

If I were to preorder Madden 15 on US PSN, would I get the ultimate team content for my normal EU account as well? I would assume no to be the answer, but one can always ask, and I honestly haven't got the faintest.

I'm on NA PSN. but oh well. haha decided to start selling my retail collection for more money and space...

now Journey just needs to go on sale so I can sell the Journey Collector's Edition (with Flow and Flower)
 
So instead of buying Neptunia digital with no fuss I'm waiting for this limited edition to go live on Amazon. All digital has been soooo great on Vita, why must I want physical crap.

Phantom Breaker Battlegrounds is really fun BTW. I really like Cocoa, the giant claw girl you unlock after beating the game.

Hmm, so the pro packs you get for pre-ordering Madden 15 says you get 4 on release, then 3 the next week, then 2 for 2 weeks after that. Seems a bit...odd? Maybe they don't want people getting too much of a stacked team early on?


Also, regarding Fibbage that released on XB1 last week, it will be coming to PS3/PS4 as a cross buy title in early September, so maybe next week! Pretty fun party game, and for $7, you can't go wrong.

They spread them out to try and keep you coming back each week in the hope you will stay active/buy more.

map the controls to something you find more comfortable. I didn't have to use the rear touchpad much after that.

if you want a grip and extra battery life, Nyko Power Grip is awesome.
if you want a screen protector that maintains the awesome screen, the original glass touch surface and offers protection, get a tempered glass screen protector.

and if u got the moolah,
get the best accessory for the Vita, the $399 accessory known as the PS4.

You get Soul Sacrifice Delta , it is on sale until tomorrow and it is one of best games on vita.
 
Have they invented screen protectors that are actually invisible yet? I can't stand the rainbow effect the DS screen protectors made, I'd rather buy a new one eventually than look at a ruined but safe screen for 5+ years

Hexyz Force is an ATLUS game for the PSP, a JRPG that tells the same story from two different points of view, making it basically two games in one. It's actually really good, one of my faves, and deserves more praise/attention.

I can't say I have ever noticed a rainbow effect or any indication that there is a screen protector at all using my current hori screen protector, but I've never noticed any "rainbow effect" on any screen protectors so I probably am not the best judge. People here seem to think highly of tempered glass screen protectors, though given how physics works a thicker screen protector seems like it would be more likely to cause refraction and "rainbowing".

Edit: Oh whoa August went by fast, I was about to buy a few games but as always, I feel like I should at least wait until the September plus lineup is released. Hopefully a few games I would play but never consider buying, those are my favorite kind of plus games.

there's no rainbowing on my tempered glass SPs... i use them on my Vita and Note 3 and.. I really like it. the image is much clearer as compared to conventional SPs
 
Man that Freedom Wars DLC for SSD is giving me an itch to buy the game.
It's between SSD and SAO. I have a feeling l'll enjoy SSD a lot more (less pointless grinding)

So did we pretty much settle on 5 x $10 for my giveaway on Sept 1st? I think most wanted more winners (which I'm for). The option for $20 x 3 is still open. But it seems like most liked the 5 x $10.

I plan on doing these every 1st of the month, pretty much forever (unless something comes up financially). So I guess I could always be flexible and change it depending on how the first one goes. Doesn't have to be set in stone.

I tried the beta for Destiny, wasn't too fond of it because I didn't really want to play the content before release + I had no one to play with.

Also when i found it would be smaller then i assumed it killed all hype for me.

Though I always buy FIFA, I can only afford one this month GAF, which one should I get? Can you put me off FIFA and rehype me for Destiny?

I think you answered your own question there friend. Don't buy a game just because others are doing it too. If you think you will enjoy FIFA more, buy that.

Here's the thing, I will probably adore FIFA but I crave a new experience and I know Destiny will give me that... It wouldn't be hard to find people to play it with either, I do know 1 or 2 they just don't play when I do.

I wouldn't regret either choice that I'm sure of.

Thought you referred to something about Binding of Isaac Rebirth, I was both excited and confused.

And will the "Freedom Wars in Soul Sacrifice Delta" DLC be included in a patch or do I have to manually start it up and do something?

Well you can always join the Destiny clan OT, and you will find plenty of folks to play with, and ultimately you can even make new friends that way. Now, I am getting Destiny, but I enjoyed the alpha and beta a lot. I am looking forward to it a lot, so I'd personally say go with Destiny.

Follow your heart, not your head :P Both will be great games you can't go wrong with either choice.

I'm getting Destiny at launch and selling it for FIFA when that comes out. Unless the end game requires MMO style grinding or something like that, in which case I'll skip Destiny altogether.

I don't think the game will be small at all, judging from the beta the Old Russia area was quite large and diverse. I prefer having a large cohesive map in a few planets than 20 different small corridors that each represent a planet.

I have mixed feelings about Saints Row 4, i dunno, probably my curse of the sequels is striking again(i usually don't buy sequels because they feel too much more of the same to me and i don't enjoy them), but that apart i don't like most(maybe all) the activities and i would like that at least all the story missions had a cutscene with the other characters, instead often there's the boss on the simulation listening to Kinzie :(

I played the survival of Crimsonland demo and while the huge amount of weapons, perks and bonuses is really not comparable to the limited amount present in Dracula Undead Awakening(also Crimsonland has quests while Dracula has no quest/story mode, Crimsonland has shinier effects etc) i still prefer this one lol.
I noticed that Dracula has some names in common with Crimsonland, "perks", "uranium bullets", "filedrunners" and maybe some others are in both, i guess that Crimsonland is the main inspiration for Dracula...

On the game's main menu, go to Downloads and it should download the DLC.

I am excite! To me, any "play until you die then start all over" type games are absolutely perfect on vita because of suspend/resume and portable quick play. Spelunky, Rogue Legacy and now Don't Starve, so easy to pick up and play for 15 minutes. All I need now is Binding of Isaac and my vita will be in roguelike heaven.
 
So matience was supposed to be today, when did they move it to and what are they doing during it, will yesterday's events cause them to implement further changes?
