My nick name isn't a Harry Potter/WoW pun: it's actually old family slang for a type of cut from a piglet. I never bother to explain it because it grosses folks out.

Comes rather easy actually

I'm not even big lol

I co-founded and ran an IRC-based medieval RP chatroom for 6 years when I was 13 years old. We had over 500 active players and 5 sub-rooms running at any given time.

Later on in 2009 I was part of the GM and writing staff for a GMUD-style character driven RPG called Underlight: Shades of Truth. We had a couple hundred active players and really enjoyed the community, but my real life started getting pretty hectic so I had to quit.

I'm born deaf but when people meet me, they have no idea that I ever was. It was completely unintentional on my part. I only functioned that way because of convenience and jumping over a lot of awkward hurdles. Its no secret however. The secret part is that you cannot see that online.

There's a girl that works at a coffee shop around my job that flirts with me pretty regularly. She's married and I'm going go out with her for drinks on friday. I have every intention of sleeping with her.

When I was a kid, I would use toys to act out a turn-based RPG adventure, and would even reenact random encounter battles using the toys. Yeah I was bored a lot.

I have a huge crush on a GAFer. They know who they are.

Ergo I'm a creep :(

Awww, I'm flattered.

I spent many years learning Japanese (including a year in Japan) and have reached a decent level, but when I think about it I actually don't care much about the country and have difficulties bonding with Japanese people. I've never really admitted that to my friends and former classmates in my Japanese curriculum.

Spending so much time on something only to realize that it's not really your thing in the end is a crap feeling.

I am adamant that Frozen is one of Disney's best films and the best kid friendly thing to release in over a generation. Digital media can suck it compared to the pleasure of physically owning a collection and caressing it.

I have watched the entire MST3k series five times over the last two years. And I'm ready to start again from the KTMA beginning.

Oh, speaking of Japan, this one will be a doozy. Probably my most shameful memory yet:

Because of a misunderstanding (was in Japan, with Japanese friends), I once tried to save a rubber animal toy drifting at sea rather than a girl who didn't actually know how to swim.
She's still alive, didn't even start to drown, but this kind of shit is the shame of a lifetime.

This happened 3 years ago. I've never told a soul back home about this, even my very best friend, and I probably never will.
