To anyone who can see the videos, how does Shulk play? I read some posts that he switches between artmodes.

It's hard to tell, but here's what I caught.

Down Smash: A sword sweep on both sides.
Up Special: Looks a lot like dolphin slash.
Up Smash: Swings sword in an arc above his head.
Forward Smash: A staight thrust.
Down Air: Downward Stabbing motion, similar to Link.

He at one point froze in place with his hand on his sword, while still having it on his back. No one hit him, but it might be a counter.

At one point, he used a move and his feet had some sort of glowing effect. Move speed buff?

His range looks pretty good. But that's all I could tell from watching.

Edit: Just noticed his hands glowed red at another point in the video. His feet were purple.

So is Shulk a true stance-changing character? If so, that'd be super hype.

Seems like it. I remember theorizing a stance change moveset for him, so it's cool to see he has something like that, but with even more options. Also, seems to have a counter move which makes perfect sense given his whole see the future thing

I just noticed that when Bowser Jr. uses his recovery, the Clown Car literally explodes and ejects him from his seat in a fireball. And then when he lands back on the ground, -POOF-, he has a new Clown Car. XD

Lol, I didn't notice that.

So even in recovery, the Clown Car doesn't fly? Crazy.

Still really bothered by how strange it is for it to hover directly over land all the time. Looks really strange in a game as mobility based as Smash Bros, and from a 'character' that afaik has always been airborne.

Somewhat slow, but I think all of his smash attacks were shown. With the Monado. he has pretty decent range when doing his attacks.

Imagine the beam sword, but less exaggerated...if that makes sense.

That makes sense. Is the beam always present? Or just when unseathed?

RH is Nintendo's biggest new series (one of them), Dixie Kong is a recent big playable character from a big recent Nintendo game, Ridley is awesome, Mach Rider would go great with Snake's moveset, and Mewtwo is Mewtwo

Nice! I've always been fascinated with the stance-changers in Soul Calibur, even though I'm complete garbage with them lol. Hopefully Smash's simplified inputs will give me a shot at being decent with Shulk.

I highly doubt that "final 5 character leak" is real just for the fact that if Mach Rider were actually in the game you would certainly expect him and his weapons to be in the ESRB rating pictures. Unless the other leaker was intentionally holding those back (doubt it), there's no way he wouldn't at least get a mention in the violence part of the ESRB's screenshots/videos.

Ignore the empty space.

it reads:

"Mewtwo, Mach Rider, Impa, Dixie, and Ridley DLC was fake just to [redacted] with you [redacted]"

meaning the 'DLC leak' that mewtwo, mach rider, impa, dixie and ridley were going to be DLC was totally made up.

Bowser Jr is my favourite, but that's cus he's the one from my childhood. Was too young to play SMB£ or SMW when they came out but I have fond memories of NSMB as a kid.
