Well... it is speculated that Sakurai enjoyed the DKC cartoon and DK's white colour was based on Eddie the Yeti.

Quite clever too! Bowser family seems to be cooler if you're playing with family, to play with a friend calling it THE KRAZY KOOPAS sounds cool too haha

It's going to depend on what weapon he uses. Clone status plus him literally being a color alt for pit has him on the bottom of my list until I see more.

I know some fans want their head on a spike, but you kept refreshing and spoiled it for yourself anyway. They only wanted what a lot of fans wanted: the end of months of speculative roster hype and denial, and the beginning of roster acceptance and gameplay hype.

I'm very pleased with the newcomer roster overall! as everyone know why I'm pleased
Also most of newcomers actually brought something new to table. New Modok, Phoenix Wright, Stand User, etc.
Those colors look so good with those newcomer blended together!
Alright guys, obviously anything could change, but if this is indeed our final list of newcomers:
How do you feel Smash 4 did with it's newcomer selection? I made this picture so you try and think of the newcomers as a whole, not just the ones leaked.
Me personally? A few missed opportunities aside, fucking stoked. 15 new fighters is nothing to scoff regardless of clones, and you could even bump that number to 17 if you count the Mii Fighter as 3 different characters.

Yeah, she's pumped for him, Rosalina and Wendy (loves using them in MK8). I love seeing younger kids reactions.

nonono you'd still get speculation and excitement, you'd just know who the character's are. For example let's say smash 4 is actually the first smash game. the E3 where smash is announced they show us Pika, Mario, DK, and Link. Later on(after the press conference) they'd just release some info saying the other characters. They wouldn't tell you how they worked or show you them, just give you name drops. TO ME this is the best way. I understand that many of you like the thrill of guessing and speculating what characters are in the game but all I'm saying is that I'm simply not a fan of that, never was and likely never will.

Alright, but that still doesn't account for mid-production cuts that would inevitably pop up. Finding out about how Rosalina and Luma had to be cut because the 3DS doesn't like cyan would not be doing any favors.

i always feel like no matter what people will break ndas and hope that the people they tell it too wont break their trust of course the situation is different compared to here but me and a whole bunch of other people were given sample artwork that was under nda for guardians of the galaxy.
Also while i have to say im still pretty excited for this roster im kinda sad that the surprise factor is kinda lost
tbqh it's not even Sakurai that gets more pissed off, it's the Marketing dept that works hard as fuck to build hype(in the right way), to get cool and exciting stuff in the game and fucking awesome promo pieces (as the trailers, Sakurai probably has a touch in it, but the main thing is the marketing dept), those guys are probably going nuts

I have warmed up to the Bowser Jr. inclusion, mostly because I love the clown car and the fact that you can probably use all the Koopalings. (Morton & Roy FTW.)
Dark Pit still upsets me though. I swear if the Ice Climbers don't make it in and that guy does, I'll be facepalming all the way til Christmas.
