Poor The Last Guardian. Even Nintendo couldn't save it.
While I'm still proud to say I was part of #TeamFake, I'm happy about one thing that seems likely with this leak; the way it was leaked. I took my stance because I was skeptical that anyone could get their hands on it with Nintendo's glare over everything that might be given to someone else in regards to the game. But if the leaker WAS a member of NoA, then my skepticism remains true, in that it took someone from within the heart of Nintendo to grab this information.
So yeah, I'll take the meal of crow, but I take my own personal side-dish of victory as well.

Peach is always a blast to play as. She has just the right balance between power and combos, while having an excellent recovery. She also sports one of the best taunts with her "La lalala la-la!" Hopefully her down smash is back to Melee standards. It was too easy to escape in Brawl.
I saw this gif just now from one of the leaked videos. It's supposed to show off how fast Lucina is up tilting after landing with fair. That's pretty cool. But what really stands out there to me is that Shulk's downsmash isn't hitting her. What in the world? Also wow at Shulk Dsmashing that fast after getting fair'd. CC I guess.
That's a fantastic assist trophy list you put together.
My opinions are way way way different than yours. Proves why having an incredibly varied newcomer list is so important. You appeal to more people that way.

Oh god, I think this is like one of those wish things where you wish for something, but it goes horribly wrong and you get what you wanted, but at an unintended cost.

I'll probably never not be salty about how low Luigi is on this countdown
but it's nice to see Peach up there. I used her pretty frequently in Brawl.

I don't understand the whole anger with being spoiled with the leaks. It's only a few weeks until the game drops, and literally most of the characters were already known.
Then everytime myself or someone else brings up having content locked, most people complain and want the whole cast from the start.
So what's 3 weeks?

Dude this update is way early! I love it.
While I didn't use to like peach very much i've come to enjoy her in Project M.
She's a lot of fun there and if she get's a daisy ALT im all but certain to use her more.

I mean, she's alright, but Pikachu, G&W, and Diddy are all amongst the top 10 or 5 smash characters ever made. All three of them together and then peach is above them?! NO

It's more about spoiling the surprise of potential newcomer trailers. Imagine the hype if there were never any leaks, and out of the blue we got a Bowser Jr. or DHD trailer. SmashGAF would explode. But that won't happen now. (Not that SmashGAF hasn't exploded anyway...but it would have been a bigger explosion.)

I wonder if the WiiU sales issues caused them to rush the game and cut a bunch of stuff and have to make a bunch of clones.

To be fair, nothing's certain from the brief footage that we received. I thought the cannon ball attack was his neutral special, but I could be wrong. Either way, it's all still speculation.

I know his chances are very slim right now, but I don't accept "he would make it to T so blah blah blah ESBR" as a point for his disconfirmation at all. And some of these pictures sent to the ESRB wern't even focused on anything racey, like Mario and Lucario in classic mode.
If he needed to be looked at, so does Shiek's grenades among other things. Either way, if he's going to get in, it's probably going to have to be DLC at this point, which they probably wouldn't have access too yet anyway, but I'm just sayin.

I'm not angry, but some characters would've been AMAZING as surprises in trailers, like chorus men and Duck Hunt Dog. I mean Robin and Lucina had decent chances, but everyone was ultra hyped because we expected to see Shulk that day, and Chrom was supposed to be the newcomer. So imagine Bowser JR. (who people forgot after Rosalina), Duck Hunt Dog, and Chorus Men, and how nuts it would all be. So sort of sad I never got to experience that sort of surprise, but Im the one who chose to frequent smash related threads and sites, so I can't be angry

I'm actually surprised that it took Sakurai four games to make an Evil version of one of the characters playable considering how ubiquitous that trope is in fighting games. And how many "Dark" versions of protagonists exist in Nintendo games, too.
