I'm not expecting it to happen, but if they show off a trailer with a newcomer we don't know about yet...

That would be pretty hype.

Well all that would prove is that the info we have is incomplete which we already know. I mean for example costume colours are still for the most part a mystery, especially for the leaked characters.

The main part of the leak (lets ignore all these DLC lists for now) has pretty much been proven. So additional unknowns won't really have an effect on that.

However if would get the ball rolling again for those who seem to think there's nothing left to reveal (which is a daft opinion to have I must say).

The folks taking the thing about Dixie and Mewtwo and Ridley at face value are gonna get disappointed. That literally just came from someone quoting the Smashboards post and amending their own characters onto it.

Hope for em sure, but several folks seem to be taking it at face value like it's as confirmed as any other part of the leak. They're not in the pictures, so we don't have any reason to assume they're there.

I wonder how Mii's and custom movesets are gonna work for local multi on the Wii U version.

On 3DS it's a non issue to be going through menus when you have your own screen, but Wii U doesn't have that luxury.

Hopefully, it'll be integrated into the CSS itself, but I wouldn't say it's impossible they'll use a similar setup to the 3DS version, which could really get annoying if more than one person's using Miis. Though most of that could be alleviated if the preferred Mii of each type is tied to player names, and those Mii types can be directly selected from the CSS when customisation is on.

I don't care about other people. There are plenty of good characters already so they should be happy.

Also it was just one example of information we don't know.

Stages are still up in the air, even if not the 3DS version, for the Wii U version.
Wii U exclusive mode(s) are unknown.
Wii U to 3DS connectivity is unknown.
Assists are still unknown.
Music is still unknown.
etc etc

Sure if you're boring and only focus on characters then maybe this is the end of the line for you, but Smash is a complete Nintendo love letter so those of us interested in the full package still have plenty to look forward to despite the leak.

Replace HW Impa with SS Impa and that would be the best non-Takamaru roster possible. A bit too good to be true. I'm saying 50 characters and that's it, but hope I'm wrong.

To be fair, he likely has been getting Smash-related questions for over two years at this point. Having people demand information from you constantly and ask questions you have no way of answering isn't exactly a fun state of affairs. I guess he could just stop using Twitter if it irritates him that much, but he seems to enjoy it enough to continue; so it's not all that immoral to laugh at his frustration.
