I don't care. I don't want to know anything when it comes to RPGs. After playing FF7 for the first time i started FF10 and didn't even know it went back to turn based.

He didn't use them. I added the spoiler tags to my quote because I didn't want to spoil others. Hence why I'm upset.

Oh shit, then yes I would be upset too.

Look Mario Kart 8 DLC leak.
Be amazed and mindblowned.
Gotcha.

Really disappointed now. At some point we could have had a SSKart, or at least those characters could have been in MK. Instead we have DLC for something that could have been cool and worthwhile.

ignore me pls

I prefer it this way. Best thing about Mario Kart being just Mario Kart is that they can make tracks based on anything since Mario's world is so flexible. Just look at all the guest tracks in the DLC, they have to be based on game locations. This limitation I feel could hold back MK. So yeah, a few non Mario guests and their guest course are welcome, but the main package should stay Mario only.

This game seems a tad bit fucked

I forgot to add -
the bad guy wins, the world ends. That's seriously the last thing that happens in the game.

Really though, it's great. Just listing all the bad stuff that happens makes it sound worse.

You could say that Mario is about an italian murdering hordes of sentient mushrooms and turtles so that he can steal the mother of a bunch of half human/half reptile abominations away from her children and their father... and... that might actually be 100% accurate.

Super Smash Kart looks pretty cool.

Maybe they should just retire Mario Kart and do full on Super Smash Kart from now on.

Well I kinda agree too.
If they start to make Nintendo Kart, we'll see tons of tracks in locations we already know :s

These spoilers need me to play Mother now.
Like i'm going to buy Earthbound and then try and get a hold of Mother 3.
I have wanted that sort of ending in a game forever!

So, Dry Bowser returning in Kart...think Bowser will get him as an alt? Would make a lot of sense and be damn cool.

I'm not sure if it'd make it into the base game, but I'd love it even as DLC; especially with Bowser's apparent buffs. Though we could get Meowser instead...

Any of you who still thinks Smash won't have DLC is a damn fool after tonight's news.
So theres still hope for wolf and snake?

Fair enough, that's a good way of looking at it.

Eh... I think that bit's up to interpretation. I can see how you could read that either way -
either as "they're all dead and this is the absolute end" or just as a quirky way to tie things up.

Speaking of spoilers, one thing I find hilarious is that people are tiptoeing around Xenoblade spoilers when I'm certain that every single trophy and stage and so forth is going to be full of 'em. Sakurai shows no mercy.

Sorry if it already got answered and I missed it.

Basically Wii U speculation had a higher acceleration, but velocity topped out a lot lower than Smash threads. Last one would probably be faster if not cut short early for actual news.

Cool, thanks.

After seeing the MK8 news I hope we get something similar with full on expansions post release having more than just characters. (more stages, costumes, etc.)

I at least hope they're as smart as they were with Mario Kart 8 and make any placeholder DLC data super ambiguous so that we can keep speculating.
At the same time, leave some blank cut character files there so that the inevitable but long-aways Project M 2 can add past characters back.

That might be the case, especially considering Sakurai's previous statements regarding worthwhile DLC. Perhaps that "Smash 6" thing had some truth to it after all...

I never thought I'd be so happy about Nintendo doing DLC. I think Smash DLC is a no-brainer.

It makes a lot of sense for Nintendo, actually. Their products are high quality and take a while to come out. It makes sense to renew interest with a few batches of post-launch DLC at timed intervals. Especially for online multiplayer games like MK and Smash.

It also fits with many of their games' evergreen pricing and distribution. Weren't new copies of the Wii Mario Kart still being printed in 2013?

DLC is going to be the best and worst thing to ever happen to us.

You don't even know the half of it. You know how ravenous people're gonna be for Inklings? I know I alone will never not be expecting Ivysaur, Squirtle, Pichu, Young Link, Bayonetta, & Wonder Red alongside the less-reasonable cuts/exclusions.

I can't take it anymore lol. Nintendo leaking like they just hit an iceberg. Giving hooked internet better get hooked up ASAP so I can freaking download all my shit!
