I don't know if true or fake but take with a grain of salt. My friend found the image on Reddit from the same guy who leaked the vids.
We of course have no reason to believe this is legit, but damn if I wouldn't like it to be. We still get Marshal/Chorus Kids and we don't have to suffer any cuts except Snake!... and one of the Ice Climbers!
Having the ICs mangled like that would really suck, to be fair, but I'd take that over losing them entirely. And TBH, the above does seem like a pretty realistic scenario. There's precedent for Marshal because of Gematsu, and given how packed with content and newcomers this game already is, it's VERY hard for me to believe there are still like 3-6 newcomers waiting in the wings that we've never even heard a peep about.
I can really see this being the case. I hope it is, at least over the most realistic alternative, which is that the leaked roster really is the complete one.

It really is. If Sakurai is that scared of angering the fans of Falcondorf's moveset, all he needs to do is transfer that moveset to a real Falcon clone like Black Shadow for example and BAM! Ganondorf's a clean slate to do right.

Hence all the debate. I myself find it suspicious that the CSS has the perfect amount of space for five more characters. If this was the full roster, why wouldn't the size of the portraits be increased to fill the entire screen instead of leaving all that black space?

Part 1 is kind of average, but Part 2 is REALLY GOOD and Part 3 is hilarious. The whole thing is over the top in fabulousness and its ridiculous.

Either Wolf, Ice Climber, Lucas, and Marshal or Chorus Kids, Ridley, Dixie Kong, and Mewtwo fits perfectly in the CSS (with the Mii Fighters added in as the fifth).
Are those three the only newcomers left in the roster? It always seems like more. I guess just because I pretty much think of Doc as a new character.
Heath, between this and your other posts asking for our opinions about how we'd feel if these characters were fake... Have you received some sort of tip indicating these are fabrications or something?

Sorry if I'm being annoying but I guess I'm afraid that when game came out in Japan, and it ended up being fake so people would laughing at the fans who believed it in first place.

Hey, maybe sakurai will add snake in as DLC. I believe there's a chance for that, as well as other characters.
I think Heath would just tell us considering how much he tries to have the gafers here to keep their expectations in check.
Plus with that video footage of Bowser Jr. and Shulk (which were taken down) at the very least we know those 2 are in for real.
I'd be disappointed. But I'm more curious why Heath is asking.
My guess: Perhaps someone is telling him that DHD and Dark Pit are fake renders like Palutena, etc, spliced in with otherwise real material for who knows the hell why

Well I mean considering we've seen no video or pics to indicate that ICs, Wolf, and Lucas are cut, and most people here are of the persuasion that the CSS in the leak is incomplete, I'd say the net chances of them being cut are the same as they were before.
Point is, we just don't know anything until we see more video or the final product. As long as those 4/5 slots are in question there's no telling who will be in them.

Honestly, this feels 100% real to me. Don't worry.
Better? The last major text leak was the DLC one, & that was a huge troll. All text leaks should be met with skepticism until we get visual evidence supporting it.
