Maybe when you win a bet with me, make Heath give it to me that avatar, or acknowledge how nice of a person I am. :3
You're a really nice person, and I mean that sincerely. :-)

You're nice even without the John Stamos hair, because as we all know, it's not about the John Stamos hair on the outside, but about the John Stamos hair on the inside

That being said, you'd be even nicer with John Stamos hair on the outside!

So I heard, wow...I thought Sakurai did magic with the Mr. & G songs in the past, but this is on another level. Bless everyone involved in the creation of this.
I know we credit Sakurai with a lot when it comes to Smash, but it's a bit much to credit him for the music compositions. There's a reason he posted the composer list.

LOLwut

No, they don't.

They consider Mario the big one, Pokemon the big one they don't have as much direct control over, and Zelda as a distant second if you don't count the mountain of Mii or Wii or whatever titles.

Yes they do.

Wii at E3 2005: "Next generation versions of Mario and Zelda are underway. We also have big plans for Metroid[...]"

See the Smash Bros trailer. What are the first three that you see? Mario, Zelda and Metroid, in that specific order.

What were the three marquee Gamecube titles? Mario Sunshine, Metroid Prime and Wind Waker.

Look at the Nintendo 3DS puzzles. What are the first three franchises? Mario, Zelda and Metroid.

It's funny because in the very next sentence I made sure to praise all involved, aware that Sakurai alone didn't do it, yet that first part passed me by. Almost 1am around here for what it's worth haha

Half the movie was a bad episode of Looney Tunes, and the other half was MJ trying to act.....ugh.....

....though I did enjoy it when I was young, I admit it!

Zelda's so far below Mario that calling it "the big three" is still generous.
I don't have any particular opinions on this matter. What would you consider Nintendo's Big Three? Or do you see it as more of a Big Two -- Mario and Pokémon -- and then everything else is just kind of there? Because that's how I feel sometimes.

The first Smash Bros Brawl trailer had Mario, Link, Pikachu, and Kirby as the four initial characters revealed.

Only for a few days! Lol. :P

i definitely see it as the big two but in my head fire emblem and pokemon with kid icarus are the big 3 with the rest in the back.....i want to dream.....

I'm back. I saw that text leak supposedly from the leaker and I have to believe it, at least until the 13th to keep my hype alive.

*Ceravic awakens from a dream forecasting Lucas' demise, and he prays for the inclusion of Lucas in Smash 4.*

I can't even remember what I thought about Space Jam. As a Brit I wasn't really into Michael Jordan or basketball so that whole element was lost. Having seen it in the cinema my parents were with me so I'm sure they were bored as well.

Anyway....

Pic of the day. A panel in the Challenges area will unlock everytime you clear a challenge. When you unlock a panel, you'll see hints for unlocking panels directly adjacent to it on all sides. And this time, each panel will unlock pictures related to the challenge. This is tougher than it looks, you know? The challenges in the 3DS version are a little on the easy side, but the Wii U version challenges might be a bit trickier.

Is the bottom screen displaying Toon Link suggesting he's a challenge to be unlocked, aka unlock able character?

There's nothing that suggests that they consider Metroid to be one of the "big 3". Pokémon, Donkey Kong and Kirby are all bigger than Metroid.

Kirby's veeeeery debatable. As for Donkey Kong, outside of DKCR which sold crazy well, Metroid's been the bigger seller since Prime/Fusion. And seeing how poorly Tropical Freeze is doing, I'd definitely say Returns was an anomaly.

Oh, you only unlock pictures :(
