That was a really fast turnaround for STF, wish there was a second XB1 game this month for users like me who already picked it up.
Game is fantastic though, happy more folk will give it a shot now!

So only 1 new and very unappealing game, while keeping another horrible game from last month as the other offering? I love my Xbox One, but Games with Gold is fucking horrible.

And everyone needs to grab the Anniversary map packs for Reach... Too good and will help hold you over for MCC. Come to think of it I own the regular DLC too and it's never come up in matchmaking smh.

MS shouldn't be giving X1 games that are already on the store, that will deincentivate consumers from buying indies and make them wait for it to be given by the service.
Really? I think Max, Guacamelle and Halo wars were good.

I'm pretty happy with the "free" games this far. Albeit Crimson Dragon being a bust.
As a massive Panzer Dragoon fan, I'm glad they're keeping Crimson Dragon on for another month, just in time for the Danish Xbox One launch. I know it's not supposed to be that good, but I'd still like to try it. And I was planning on buying Super Time Force from Gog.com anyway, so that's a nice addition as well.

Thief is one of the worst games of the gen, disc or digital. Give me STF any day over garbage like that.

I can see Thief coming soon at some point. Its lack of success and price point fit the bill. I don't think we will see Black Flag for awhile...at least not until Unity is matured.

Quite happy with this month, almost bought STF at launch and Monaco on the 360 still interests me, even though the demo left me a bit cold on it.
STF is really good, but I feel like releasing it only a few months after it came out is kind of a burn for the early adopters. Keeping on CD sucks, but frankly XBO just doesn't have as many indie games as PS4 so they might not have a choice.
I'm most excited for Monaco, which I have wanted to play for a while, but never really had the chance to.

I liked both, but I think I enjoyed Max more then Guacamelee overall!
About the retail titles, just like on PS4 I guess it will take a little more time for that to happen. Till there are a bigger gaming library on both platforms.
I hear you. I have to admit that I got spoiled by how PS+ was back on the trusty old PS3. Things will get better for both of these services as the gen ages.

I like Crimson Dragon a lot. The movement and targeting being separate does feel unintuitive and takes a while to come to terms with, but barrel rolling seems to compensate for that in most cases.
Monaco is an XBLA game, so that won't be an issue. Reach will be fine too, since all the Halo games on 360 are region free. For whatever reason, Bethesda has been region locking all of their games on 360 from the very beginning, and most of Rare's 360 games are locked too.

For 360, it's Monaco (dunno what this is) first then Halo Reach. Can't believe this region locking crap. I can't get DIshonored, I can't even pick up Banjo-Kazooie: Nuts & Bolts for cheap.
Hopefully those two I have access to.

This kind of mentality has always been the downside of Games with Gold and PS+. If you found that the game was worth the money to buy and enjoyed it, what does it matter if it goes for free afterwards? You enjoyed the game before others who are going to get it for free.

I don't know how the site works but I naturally expect that I'm able to pick up a game if it shows up on the Canadian site. Makes me mad when it's tellng me I can't download it.

if the game is interesting, just buy it instead of waiting for a possible sale.

I agree. They could not do that in the 360 since they are giving the games for free, but on Xbox One it is like ps+, the licenses expires of you are not gold anymore.
It was great with Guacamelee, but nos since they are offering old games, I keep skiping buying games waiting that they may be a GwG.
