Naruto Manga Thread (OT) - The End is here

Man. Kaguya was so underwhelming it's sad. And Black Zetsu didn't end up doing anything except being the chatterbox.

And Madara is back. But yeah, I can see the Rinne Tensei coming like nothing since Obito didn't get to do that.

If Kaguya is the "final boss", well, definitely one of the worst I've seen.

But what about Spiral Zetsu? He seems to have vanished, unless I missed something.

Considering the mad rush Kishi has been on to get us to this point after Pain's invasion I'm not so sure I believe that. The pacing for the past few years has been that of a guy trying to bum rush towards an ending, if he wanted to do a part 3 the perfect time would have been after Pain got beaten.
 
I just can't come to terms with the fact that Naruto is ending. The only anime I started watching post middle school that has ended was Code Geass, and that wasn't a long running show. Naruto, Bleach, and One Piece have all been ongoing since then. The last time I felt like this was when DBZ ended.

It's been 4 years since the war started.

the calendar duration of the war spans practically the entirety of the Dragon Ball manga from start through the sparing of Piccolo Jr's life by Goku (or, in anime terms, the entirety of Dragon Ball)

Nov 20, 1984: Chapter 1 of Dragon Ball is released
Oct 10, 1988: Chapter 194 of Dragon Ball is released. (Chapter 195 timeskips 5 years later and begins the Saiyan Saga)
Duration: 1421 days (inclusve)

Nov 10, 2010: Gaara's Speech/Chapter 516 of Naruto is released
Aug 29, 2014: Today's date
Duration: 1389 days (inclusive)

Look at how things have been introduced over that time and compare it to before. Almost all of the recent developments have come out of nowhere. Prior to the end of the Pain arc there was actual foreshadowing, it wasn't always good but it was there. This arc may have taken forever but that's partly down to how rushed the planning of it was. The war arc should have been two or three different arcs. When you look at the pacing of the chapters and how long it would have taken to get to this point properly, its absolutely been rushed.

It could just be movies from now on... there are also rumours that Kishi's assistant will continue the series
 
Naruto is still massively popular worldwide. I'm sure tons of fans want to see what happens to these characters when they get older. It wouldn;t be possible to see this in Shippuuden unless they shoe horned a massive time skip for the last episode. Thats why I hope a third series is actually happening.

Just thought of something. Guys are always lusted in Naruto. I can't think of girls being massively sout out after.
 
I still don't think this new era project is a part 3. I'm thinking it's more of an extended epilogue that might include more than one movie or something.

I'll be honest, I want more. Not of what is happening now but I wouldn't mind being introduced to the characters again a bit in the future and catching up with them spending time with them. Maybe one more arc to see how everyone has developed. Then end it.
 
So that was anticlimax way to end that fight. Hell, the whole fight has been fucking shity, Kaguya has been a shity villain who seemed weak as fuck. She never felt like this is the end game boss like for example kid buu did or piccolo did in dragon ball.

Kishimoto must be trolling with this. Hes gotta be.. right?

I knew something was off if the final villain was a woman (track record speaks for itself), but still this is awful.
 
Man why couldnt madara have been the final boss, we got kaguya instead god damn it I cant wait for this series to end, wso I can get on with my life. Though I will miss it.
