2 hours and 43 minutes from now I believe.
been at the hospital the whole day....how long till the direct?
The fact that they're so mind numbingly boring, bland and out of place is why I hate them so much, and they wasted resources making 3 separate characters out of that shit.
Can't wait for Shulk trailer.
Everything okay, man?been at the hospital the whole day....how long till the direct?
It's not all that much more resource-intensive than making 3 unique alloys, and as they're playable characters rather than exclusively enemies, the game as a whole will benefit.
Can't wait for your disappointment.
Can't wait for your disappointment.
There can't be any Smash disappointment unless it's a delay announcement.
might be infected with a new dangerous bug virus, wont get results till saturday. They gave me some shots and I honestly feel better already (except for my poor butt that got the shots..I haven't done anything.
What? Why? D:
1. Design better looking Miis.Maybe I'm alone in thinking just how much complete shit the Mii's look like, they're just so bad, I hate their design and their inclusion.
The fact that they're not actually a Nintendo character and that you're just supposed to make your own whatever is so annoying to me.
I think it's far from the best lineup of newcomers.SSB4's roster is sort of polarising - it's possibly the best lineup of newcomers in the series, though it's counterbalanced by having the worst array of cuts in the series.
It's said that they copy faces from Mii characters saved on your system and attack in a large throng !!
In the official Nintendo canon, the Miis we see are genetically modified clones of the original featureless Mii. Cheap, versatile, and mindlessly obedient, they serve as Nintendo's go-to for menial labor and expendable troops. The richest of the Nintendo elite breed physically augmented Miis for the gladiatorial arenas. Then the gambling spectators cheer their emotionless killers on, eager for blood. The fact that they're not actually a Nintendo character and that you're just supposed to make your own whatever is so annoying to me.

I think that's precisely why I like it, though. As a hardcore Nintendo fan, it's much more interesting to me when they have to start digging deeper for characters and make them have to get more creative with the move sets.I've made bold the BIG names from each game. I'm sure you'll probably disagree with me on that, but I mean...who in that lineup appeals to the casual Nintendo fan? Robin, Lucina, Palutena, Dark Pit, Shulk and Greninja are all from games released in the last few years. Duck Hunt Dog and Little Mac are fairly niche characters as well. I seem to be in the minority in not being able to see the appeal of Wii Fit Trainer, and I'm not a big fan of Rosalina either. Mega Man is the only real big-hitter, and even then I doubt kids even know who he is these days.
Compare that to the likes of Bowser, Ganondorf, Mewtwo, Peach, Zelda, Diddy Kong, Lucario, Solid Snake...SONIC THE HEDGEHOG?! Nah, Smash 4 might have the most newcomers (and if you count Pokemon Trainer as three separate characters it doesn't even have that), but it's far from the best. AND then you have to take into consideration the cuts.
This isn't the Smash one.
This isn't the Smash one.
Pokemon X&Y has sold ~12 million copies, but I mean...how of many of them are going to be Smash? How many of them actually like Greninja? Compare Greninja's level of popularity to Charizard or Mewtwo or even Lucario.I don't see why Greninja doesn't apply. In fact, it probably appeals to the casual Nintendo fan the best of any character added, aside from Mega Man, Pac-Man, or Villager.
I think it's far from the best lineup of newcomers.

Rosalina is a way better pick than Falco.
I think it's far from the best lineup of newcomers.

There's only one Nintendo Direct today, and it's for Japan. Sakurai retweeted this event.
Wait, what? I thought there was a 3DS third party one then a Smash only one much later today.
So confused ._.
Guys stop doing this to yourselves.
They are not unveiling a new fighter because it's always done wifh Wii U footage and it's Japan only. When has a reveal ever been Japan only?
It's likely just for news about modes and stages before it releases.
I hope I'm wrong, but whatever.
Man, you really can't lose; both are in my top 10 of all time. I'd say Super Metroid lends itself more to fewer, longer sessions, while Yoshi's Island could be taken a little slower. That's just me, though, they're both fucking amazing.Maybe a bit off-topic, but due to the free 5 from Nintendo Premium and some left-over money, I can buy a VC game. It's going to be either Super Metroid or Yoshi's Island. I haven't played either of them. I have Yoshi as an ambassador game, but it plays terribly on the 3ds with it's extreme blurriness and ghosting. Anyway, help me choose![]()
That was fake.

Super Metroid. Ahh, there we go, must have missed that. Cheers.
So we're expecting Smash stuff in this one, right?

honestly how do you expect them to one up the brawl line-up after getting almost all the most wanteds after metanight, sonic, diddy kong and olimar?
Going full-on retro would have been more amazing than Brawl's roster for me.
Excitebiker, Duck Hunt Dog, Mike Jones, Megaman, Pacman, Simon Belmont, Sukapon, Mach Rider, Ayumi Tachibana, Prince Sable, Donbe & Hikari, NES Sport rep, Tamagon...
Making characters that will never have a chance of being in their own game or that people have never even heard of a playable fighter in smash has always been infinitely more interesting to me than a character I played as last week.
*ahem*
