Volition to reveal new game/gameplay this Friday at PAX

I wanted something like this for the longest time. Would be so amazing.

The intro should also start out with events that never happened after Saints Row IV and maybe even a joke "have a save file from SRV to get an exclusive weapon!" message.

This would be amazing. I wonder how many developers would be crazy enough to try that.

Prediction

All Saints Die and go to hell till they eventually try to take over it lol
i could see Hitler in this

my personal theory was that The Boss dies, but is sent back to Earth (to a new city) to stop a gang war by killing three gangs before he can pass on. At the end, The Boss is sent to Hell, so you kill Satan and take over Hell instead.

This is also how they bring back Dane Vogel and Dex, since they're most certainly in Hell.

I thought Earth was blown up in SR4, I haven't played in a while so that might be off.

the Saints time travel during the credits, so it's possible they travel back to before the Earth is blown up, stop the alien invasion, and then The Boss dies elsewhere

man the more I think about it the more I love the saints row in hell idea.

shooting demons and shit would be a ton of fun.

They should model hell after a 1980s NYC

Clancy Brown as the Kurgan from Highlander as a boss

fucking yes

That's not an excuse even if it was true. Stilwater had a ton of variety and was much more lively. You could walk around a corner and see a dude running around naked or a civilian chucking a policeman across the street. It was great.

I mean more from a map design perspective. Stillwater was better, don't get me wrong, but it's never been the series' strongest point.

Please no more games set in (any variant of) NYC for another couple of years, pretty please!

I like the hell idea, but if they wanted to reel things back towards reality a bit I think stranding The Saints in the deep south would be an amusing take on things. Like a mix of Dukes of Hazzard, Deliverance, and Smokey and the Bandit. Have them fighting like some KKK parallel or militant church groups.

Yeah earth blew up but they did steal a ship at the end and went to explore the universe. I think this is going to be either a big space type game or a reboot.

I'd like this too.

Bring back the 3-gang formula so you can have them both!
