Exactly. Thats why Im pissed off. Labeling this as a 3ds. And not a whole new handheld console. I think this is what Miyamoto meant with casuals and hardcore.But that's dividing your customer base, especially big games like Xenoblade which has a lot of buzz. If more games get created under the new revision and are not backwards compatible with older 3DS, then how is that not a slap in the face.
If they labeled it a new handheld that's a different story, because it would explain why newer games built around the hardware wouldn't work on older 3DS.
No what they are doing like they did with the 2DS is creating another re-vision of essentially the same device minus a cpu bump, battery life, better 3D, and upgraded thumbstick, that will have specific games that only iy can play.
But yet they are still calling it a 3DS, how does that not piss people off who are buying the still available 3DS and 3DS XL?
If we are hardcore enough we will buy The New 3DS.
If not, hey then youre just casual, so fuck you casual!
