This one scene made me appreciate Shulk's inclusion so much more than I did before. Now we have a Red-Green-Blue swordsman trio with distinct attributes in their fighting styles!

I'm pretty happy about Shulk being in the game, he looks pretty damn awesome.
Amiibo please? I'll take two. I love stance dancing in fighting games, so Shulk will be my main for practical and sentimental reasons. Glad to see Nintendo working to turn this into a flagshp franchise.

Does Nintendo make these in house? Someone there has a great eye for capturing action, the slo-mo shots here are nice, same goes for the camera work.

So Dunban and Heropon Riki clearly look to be included in Shulk's Final Smash. Do we think this could prove the existence of customizable Final Smash's? They are swappable in Xenoblade after all.
I mean Reyn and Fiora are much more central characters to Shulk, and I think it's strange that they were not show off.
Or maybe these 2 partner characters rotate? Anyone have any ideas?

The fact that he knew where they were headed and instead of stopping them he's waiting for his arm to heal so he can join up with them later. He shares the same sentiment: revenge.

Watched the trailer and I am so hyped. Im assuming metal face at the end means the Wii U's single player mode will likely involved us fighting bosses from the playable characters games (ie ridley, Metal Face etc etc)

That trailer was everything I could have hoped for and it's clear the team did their research. It definitely felt like a love letter to Xenoblade. From all of Shulk's Arts to his silly jumping animation to the Chain Attack Final Smash with Dunban and Riki to the boss tease to Shulk time, it was everything I could have hoped for.

It's so surreal that just prior to XB's announcement this team seemed almost ready to disappear for good and now they have one of the most acclaimed games ever to their name, a Smash representative and a brand new next-gen project coming up.
It feels so fucking good.

Yeah, might be another smash character that I don't give a shit about, but has such a fun moveset that I play as them anyway, like Diddy Kong, Pokemon Trainer, and Captain Falcon.
(I still think his visual design meshes horribly with everyone around him though. They should have given him some new digs for Smash.)

They created the criminally underrated Baten Kaitos Origins and Xenosaga III and now they're absolutely killing it with one of Nintendo's new premiere RPG franchises.

I still can't believe Shulk is in. He was the one character I wanted in Smash the most. Ever since I finished Xenoblade in 2011 I've been hoping this would happen. God, I'm so happy!!
