It doesn't matter if the game looks better in person/motion. We are commenting on what we see here. And what we see looks pretty disappointing.

Some concerns are fine, however some comments in this thread are absolutely crazy. I think that comment was directed at people calling it a PS3 game or Watch Dogs downgrade. Lets be real, those screenshots are nothing like that. They are compressed screens that to some look bad, and to some, look like the footage we've been getting but in still form.

guys we have tons of actual gameplay video from actual hands on at games shows of how the game looks in motion. Like any game on Earth, you can find bad shots if you want. But we don't need to rely on them; we know how it actually looks. It looks astonishing.

It's technically 1080p, but you can see how bad the compression is around the text. This isn't indicative of how the game will look, and that's even before you take into account a still compared to motion (and motion blur effects designed around seeing them in motion).

Unless a game is over sampled to shit, games hardly ever look good in street shots, especially when taken while the game is in motion, no surprise here.

What really matter is what it looks like when in motion in videos and from the many videos shown, the game is nothing short of spectacular.
