How would this sound as DLC? Going on the assumption there's 5 slots on the CSS reserved for DLC and 1 stage slot for DLC.

Vets Pack: Release February 2015: 6.99
- Ice Climbers
- Mewtwo
- Pichu (Clone)
- Cracker Launcher item
- Flipper Item
- 2 new Smash Run enemies (Topi and Golbat) 3DS Only
- 1 New Pokeball Pokemon (Golbat) Wii U Only
- 1 New Assist Trophy (Tobi) Wii U Only

- 16 New Trophies (10 of which are the above 7 things)
- 10 new Mii costume items, 3 of which are a Mewtwo hat, a Pichu hat and an IC Parka

New Comer Pack: Release August 2015: 5.99
- Chorus Men
- Dixie Kong
- 2 New Items
- 2 New Smash Run enemies that are from Rhythm Haven and Donkey Kong, are ATs on the Wii U
- 16 New Trophies
- 10 new Mii costumes items, 2 of which are Chorus Men's suit and Dixie's hat and hair.

Buy both for 9.99 and get "The Summit" as a bonus stage on both the Wii U and 3DS, 2 new Yoshi colors (Black and White), and a Notched Ear Pichu Costume.

This format isn't bad. But some of those character choices seem odd.
Pichu over any of the other cut veterans?

It'll return alongside Onett in the Wii U version because porting Fourside to the Brawl / SSB4 engine would take work, and MOTHER is probably getting a new stage on the 3DS version.

I can't wait for the meltdowns when that stage ends up not being Magicant.

I kind of hate the Gematsu leak for getting my hopes up about the Chorus Men. :(
Haha me too i guess they just had very early info and that the Chorus Kids worked as three seperate units and not one single unit like we all thought, which was why them and IC were cut.

Hopefully next time. If Chorus Kids were in, I'm glad Sakurai didn't go for a different RH rep because CK are the perfect ones.

You're right about the DS Lite - as far as I know, there was no practical reason to get a Lite if you already had a DS - but I'm not so sure about the N3DS. We already know it's capable of playing the new Xenoblade, which the current 3DSs aren't. If more games come out that require the N3DS, then I think it'll be more like the GBC than the Lite - a new console rather than a remodeled version of a current console.

I agree with you, it depends on what kind of games we get for it. The only thing is the 3DS is already a success in today's market, so I don't see them wanting to fragment the existing user base *too* much, and with that in mind I have trouble seeing this as a new console. I think if it's mainly ports it's okay as long as they can continue supporting the OG 3DS in the meantime. Plus, it's a stopgap handheld so unless it takes off massively I expect we'll see a true successor announced in a couple years or so. (Plus, as I said I think most people who want a 3DS already have one, and may not be compelled by what we've seen on offer to upgrade.)

Throw in a stage for each, ideally, but even if not that looks like a great deal as is. I also think if this would be for Wii U as well that cross-buy should somehow be implemented.

Urgh, the lead up to the Tabuu fight in the SSE is so tedius. Nearly there, though. Still hoping for an Adventure Mode or something like it in the Wii U version, though.

Pichu is a bonus character of the pack. I didn't want one pack to be more lopsided than the other, Pichu, but one had to have 3 in it. Pichu seemed like an easy and "safe" bonus character for the pack.

Of everyone who has ever been cut from Smash, Pichu would probably be the easiest to port over.

Would have prayed everyday if the RH rep was her.

I hope so, that would make an awesome mode even more great.
Maybe a challenge that unlock another map?
But I won't be disappointed if there isn't.

Well, didn't that large 3ds trailer show some kind of horde mode and also a race of the finish bit as part of Smash Run? I'm not sure about a second exploration area, but there seems to be multiple match types at least.

Monster Hunter is a skilled hunter who hunts large beast, dragons, wyverns and more through various methods, such as swordplay, bow gunning, bows, lances and more. This particular hunter is based off the generic Rathalos armour fighter and fights with a bow and great sword!

Neutral B: Bow Shot - Hunter will fire a Lv1 pierce shot ahead of him, and can charge it to a Lv2 and Lv3 spread shot, however powerful this becomes, the hunter is left open as he charges the attack.

Down B: Whetstone - Hunter will pull out a whetstone and begin to sharpen his blade. This will temporarily increase the amount of % inflicted when using the great sword against opponents, however like the game, the whetstone will take a short few seconds to sharpen the blade, similar to the Sun Salutation

Customisable variants of the Down B can involved planting a small barrel bomb which will explode in seconds or upon force, as well as planting a shock trap, pitfall trap, or dropping tainted food, which can appear as regular food and will damage any player who collects it. Also, another variant will be whetstone which will temporarily increase

Side B: Insect Rush - Hunter will release the insect bug which will flutter in a straight line and will hit the opponent a few times with good knock back. The longer it travels is the faster it will become.

Customisable variants of this will include the ability to move the bug in a given direction, weapons such as bomb casings (dung bombs etc.)

Up B: Ballistic Shot - Hunter will fire an upwards ballistic shot which will attach to a ledge and allow for recovery, in battle, the ballistic shot will latch onto an opponent and cause brief damage as well as slow their movements for a few seconds. (Probably a bad idea, but hey)

Customisable variant will be the farcaster which will allow the hunter to drop a bomb mid-air to return back to the stage as recovery, similar to the function in-game which sends hunters back to the camp

Neutral A: Swing - Hunter will swing forward with the great sword dealing normal damage.

Customisable variants of this involve switching out the GS for the smaller, lighter, but weaker longsword. All customisable A's will switch out in favour for this.

Side A: Side Swipe - As in the game, the Hunter will perform a side sweep with his GS, covering great range due to its sheer size.

Up A: Overhead Slash - The overhead slash will swing the GS from the front to the back of the Hunter overhead and will cover good distance.

Down A: Stab - Basic stab in the ground when the Hunter is in the air, or a forward poke on the ground when crouched.

Up Air: Sky Poke - Hunter will thrust the GS high into the air to hit opponents, but will take severe landing lag to recover his strength. (GS are heavy!)

Forward Smash - Hunter will draw back the GS, charge it and release. This has two charge cycles akin to the game.

Up Smash - Similar to his up A, but will also charge twice akin to the game

Down Smash - Hunter will sweep the ground around his radius with the GS, his weakest smash

Final Smash: Rathian strike! - Hunter will draw a Wyvern Egg which will call upon a Rathian which will douse the stage in three fireballs before it flies off.

This is my first ever move set I thought of, I could flesh it out, I know, but it's basic and gets the job done, really.

Hahah, I have a feeling that if it were anything like this, I'd main the Hunter. One of the taunts should be him or her cooking meat!

From my understanding, the additional characters are already being worked on (which is why they were able to be shown to ash at PAX), but they won't be ready for the WiiU release. Rather, they're being saved for "Super Smash Bros 6", which is a WiiU DLC pack/exclusive New3DS game, since the 3DS can't handle characters like the Ice Climbers.

This is just speculation at best.

By the way, here are the 3 walls of challenges of Kirby Air Ride.

So my guess about a Smash Run wall might very well be true.

Wow Kourio, I didn't know till you posted it today that KAR even had challenge walls. That's awesome, I loved them in KI:U. How does the game hold up, graphically and otherwise?
