The question isn't about that. Where do you draw the line on what private recordings are ok to be leaked to the public without consent?

The difference is public interest. And no, I don't mean "public interest" that is ogling at these images. With your definition, many political scandals would've never happened. And that wouldn't be for the better.
Fair enough. So if a .zip file dropped of private conversations from various politicians, that would be ok?
I'm not in support of Sterling BTW. I am just genuinely curious to see when people think it's ok to breach someone's privacy.
