OK, so apparently the blackout wasn't completely permanent.
Occassionally if you leave it alone, closed, the screen will restore.
However, the screen will then vibrate horizontally like a really trippy parallax possessed by Satan then fade to black again.
So I'm still screwed over until my brother ships me his system but now it just taunts me.

Fair enough I suppose, I can't expect everybody to be into all of them
I for one love playing around with the whole cast, spot the differences in the veterans and check first hand what each newcomer brings to the table. It's so damn fun and now more than ever with the hugest roster we've had yet. Throw custom moves into the equation and I'm gonna spend hours just trying out everyone.

Sudden Death is generally only used as a decider if both players end the timer with the exact same percentage (otherwise, the one with the lower percentage automatically wins [Unless for some reason in this game it goes to SD if you're both alive even if there's a stock difference]), and the winner of the SD just gets to pick the stage for a 1-stock, 3 minute decider.
Say for example you're Ganondorf against a Greninja player, you have a significant percentage lead, but because he's more agile, he's been able to stall out the last minute by running away constantly and puts the game in SD, now, what was once a game heavily in your favour has been completely flipped to be in more favour of the speedier, agile character.
It's just more fair. Your rules are more likely to encourage camping and stalling out the timer.
I'll just adjust it closer to the time. Relax.

I wasn't there so what happened...did people just argue over waifus or hate on the idea of them to the point where that was the only discussion for pages on end?
Don't have one but peach is my overall favorite.
I'm just letting you know why we have certain rules for tournaments, it seemed like you had no idea what a problem with sudden death would be.

That's why I think Nintendo and Konami agreed to allow Snake to be in the game if Snake is DLC character so they can split the royalties or the sales costs. However it's unlikely tho.

I'd say, some character needed more work and 3DS will get a free characters update at the same time the Wii U version release.
There's always a small sliver of hope.
Also, going back to that japanese poll from earlier.
Does anyone find it kinda funny that Ridley, a character designed and created in Japan is seen by them as an 'overseas character', yet K. Rool, who was deisgned and created in the glorious United Kingdom is apparently really heavily requested in Japan?

A part of me feels this way as well.
Especially with the Ice Climbers.
They know the quickest way to hype regardless of what others think is always the characters.
Pretty much. It was so bad that the mods had to start banning people.
