I actually have the suspicion that this closed door media event had the ulterior motive of having all the press sign an NDA that included the clause that prevented them from discussing the ESRB leak. I believe Heath mentioned that was definitely included in the NDA. And since a closed door demo that the media can't discuss, which is the whole point of the media, serves no purpose I think Nintendo just wanted to put a stopper on all the sites covering the leak.

Even if they didn't explicitly have a clause in there about the ESRB leak, I assume any updated build will include aspects of that leak and an NDA on that build would automatically mean they would be prohibited from talking about parts of the leak.
