I got to play the best buy demo, both on 3DS and Wii U... I waited 3 hours for ONE turn. I chose toon link and link.

Yup.

I really wanted to try mega man and little mac, but I have ALWAYS played link first, and was not about to break tradition, sorry.
 
I'll just play Link first like usual, then Ike if he's there.

The first newcomer I want to try is Little Mac.

One of two options, either the Best Buy I preordered at has a midnight release, my friends and I go to that, play the rest of the night, then go to class and get nothing done. OR No midnight launch and I suffer through class until mid afternoon and then rush to Best Buy and do nothing the entire weekend.

If Luigi is unlocked from the start I will play as Luigi, otherwise, Mega Man. Worst case scenario I will play as Kirby until I unlock Luigi or Mega Man.

Yeah, totally worth it. 2 minutes each on 3DS then Wii U, won both times. Did I mention it was a 1.5 hour drive each way? :p So basically 6 hours for 4 minutes of smash bros.

I'm a zelda fan first, but a smash bros fan close second. Mainly because smash bros contains Zelda stuff. If smash bros didn't have Zelda, i'd be way less hype about it.
 
I usually play first with my most wanted newcomer, but looks like it'll be unlockable this time (Bowser Jr) so I guess Robin will have the honor

I waited in line for 30 mins and only got to play the Wii U ver...I picked Rosalina on the boxing stage and killed people with the lights since they didn't know about it ~
 
Nothing is as satisfying as trying out new movesets in smash bros. The simple and straightforward controls make it so easy to go in and just feel all the characters out. Now with nearly 50 characters to try out, it's just going to be a blast trying everyone out.

lol I picked Little Mac and then picked the Fire Emblem stage with practically no aerial combat

I'm such a jerk ;)

Yup, once I beat classic mode w/ link/toon link, I plan on playing random for everything the first day.

Pikachu first cause a main is a main, Then some of the newcomers, Shulk, Robin, Rosalina, and then Ike and Toon Link. After that single player stuff I guess.

I feel like a jerk for what I did too...also I found it fun that I semi juggle somebody with Rosalina and Luma but I dropped it after 3 hits 'cause I suck ~

Oh no, I don't think Bayonetta is going to be playable and I don't want her to be. I was just disagreeing with the 'Nintendo All-Star' notion. There's plenty of quirky and obscure characters in Smash and that's part of why I love the series so much.
 
When y'all try Little Mac, be warned he's very hard to get used to, despite his strength.

His side B will fling you off the stage if you're not careful.

I'd probably wait twice as long and drive twice as far to play Zelda Wii U.

I'm sincerely considering spending the hundreds of dollars it would take to get me to E3 next year in the hopes of it being playable.

Well that's a pickle. I have no idea! My first instinct is to contact amazon but then again you dont want to clue them in if it is an oversight. Good that the order still says prime, though.

The only real reason I want to see Bayonetta in Smash is just because it would shake the thread to it's core. We think we basically know it all at this point. Something like that would wreck the thread in a good way as impossible as it is.

He seems to be all about speed, spacing, and keeping two feet on the ground. I really love the idea of that, and it's perfect for a boxer.

I'm excited to give him a go.
