Bio
Captain Syrup is the ruthless and greedy pirate captain of the Black Sugar Gang and is a rival of the master of greed himself, Wario. Her base of operations is Kitchen Island, from which she sailed her former pirate ship, the SS Tea Cup; her current vessel is known as The Sweet Stuff. Much like Wario, and true to her pirate nature, she has a never ending desire for treasure. Interestingly enough, she is the first leading female villain in the greater Mario universe and Wario is even surprised to learn she is a woman in their first encounter.

Note: Unlike veterans, the newcomers being posted are not being revealed in order of most votes due to the amount of different choices; I'm just sharing the ones I find most interesting. However, for the last five newcomers, I will present those in order as the newcomers who got the most votes.

Isn't that the point of it? Like Ganondorf, Falcon, Falco, Fox, Wolf, and somewhat Ike's side B?

Quick dashlike attack that puts you in your helpless animation.

It's not really that, well, sort of.

It's just got range, and it can even overshoot opponents sometimes.

I flung right over a Toon Link player when I played and hit the blast zone.

I feel that Captain Syrup's more along the lines of AT material, but if Wario ever gets a resurgence again one day it could be possible.

Oh yeah, question. If someone rolls or spot dodges does the superman punch continue or will he swing and miss right there like captain falcon?

I always wondered why Nintendo didn't try to push Captain Syrup as the 'girl Wario' or something. Not literally, but in the sense of them having no women that aren't 'bad' at all in their Mario party/sports/etc games.

Her design is well suited to being alongside the other Mario characters in just about anything, her pirate theme is pretty unique, and she'd add another playable lady to lots of games.

She'd be cool in Smash, but she should get a lot more use as a general Mario universe character.

I can say that with a roll, someone will dodge his side B. He goes over it as they role under.

As for spot dodges, I can't say I remember.

Because she originated from Wario Land, and apparently Wario Land is taboo now at Nintendo or something.

Just realized that Ike's Great Aether final smash has blue flames too. Such a small detail, but I absolutely love it. Thanks for listening, smash team!

So essentially he probably just commits to hell whenever he uses that move and caution be damned?

Yeah, it's a risk reward move, because it does some decent damage. In all honesty though, his side tilt is much more viable. It's a straight one, two punch and can kill at high percentages.

Oh that sounds amazing. I love high risk moves. I'm the guy who plays Ganondorf and acts like he's Falcon. Randomly throwing Warlock Punches out.

God... what I would give for this to happen. His move set would fit so well in Smash Bros. Cyclone, Slash, Lightning, Spin Cut, Confuse... Luminaire being is Ultimate Smash.

Masked Man would be someone I'd like to see as well.

Knowing that she'd only be used for spin-offs (seeing that not even Wario makes mainline Mario game appearances), I'd rather she just be made relevant to Wario titles again.

(Other than Wario's side smash, victory song and portions of Waluigi Pinball's smash theme. Also an entire level in Mario Kart 7)

Whoops. In my defense, I never got to play Mario Kart 7.

It's still a shame there hasn't been a new Wario Land in quite some time, and it seems quite under-referenced in comparison to Wario Ware. Both are fantastic franchises though.

Dude, you don't even know. Fucking Crono would make me go crazy, though it'll never happen.
