Man. Remember in the very beginning of Smash 4's pic of the day when we got a random picture with no text? And the 3DS pictures were half the size?

If it had been like that the whole time I would have stopped checking. I didn't check the website A LOT in the beginning because a picture with no explanation or legitimate content was a waste of my time.

Now I am a slave.

Same here. It's really come a long way since it started. But so have the games themselves probably, so it makes some sense.

It's possible since I did suspected same thing since ESRB video is more likely to made somewhen in May or so. It would make sense that Dark Pit got a nod at E3(June) and Lucina during July (July).

We also only saw like 4 of his moves. We only saw his up smash, down smash, neutral A, and up special. There's still HOPE that ONE of his moves is new, but I wouldn't bet on it

Don't forget Game And Watch's nod in pac-man's trailer. Am I missing any others? I think the only reason they gave lucina a title card during Robin's trailer was so that nobody secretly suspected Chrom as also being unlockable.

Well, they shown Chrom being in final smash so I don't know about that.

We've hardly seen any interesting pictures of new characters since Sakurai started to get in depth about all the game modes and stuff.

And hell, Lucina sleeping is better than menus.

But it didn't take long for me to stop checking. Not because I didn't care at all, it just wasn't important enough to have me there habitually. I would check the compendium at the end of the week and that was it. No online discussion, no hype, just... Oh look, there's a picture.

It didn't do it for me.

God, I really love the particle effects in Smash. I am worried if anyone but Sakurai is directing a Smash Bros. game that it'll lose its souls. The particle effects really make up more than any shader or polygons can do.

I love going back and reading the reactions to the Captain Falcon Robin/Lucina trailer due to the WFTness but considering how bad people were at actually understanding what the trailer was showing them (OMG CHROM PLAYABLE TOO! LUCINA IS AN ALT?) adding the flash card to Lucina was really needed.

It's a shame not every character, newcomer or not, is getting a flash card - they are so cool

Unlikely. The attacks had new effects and/or tweaked animation (Smash Up A), even if they didn't go in a different direction with his overall design.

I do like that the Pics of The Day are a little less detailed than Dojo posts. I felt like I knew everything about Brawl by the time it came out. I'm sure I'll know the whole roster by the time Smash 4 comes out. However, I don't know what a lot of the new items do, I don't know more than a handful of the new assist trophies, I probably know most, but not all of the stages. I think Smash 4 will feel a little fresher in that regard.

But that's a decent amount of guessing there, but a rough idea.

If every piece of footage for Zelda U confirms that it's my dream zelda, it will be worse than smash. At least smash drip feeds us info. Zelda U will be trailer, nothing, nothing, nothing, trailer, magazine article, E3 coverage, nothing, nothing, nothing, MASSIVE SPOILER BLOWOUT, nothing, nothing, game release.

The large periods of nothing (like right now), are almost unbearable. Fortunately smash is a distraction from Zelda U.
