I second this. I have an imported Club Nintendo soundtrack from Europe and that track is probably my favorite from the entire game. It doesn't just cover the theme in a more jazzy way; it brings in a lot of the other motifs from the various worlds into one lengthy track that's actually really energetic for a credits sequence.

I figure that copies of the game need to be in retail stores for the midnight release, which means copies will be in stores on the 12th at the absolute latest. But having stock arrive the day of sale is cutting it very close, because that doesn't account for any possible complication that would delay or complicate delivery.

For example, movies that open for midnight shows usually arrive three to four days early, even if the print or hard drive itself is locked.

So I think copies will be in retail stores on the 10th, possibly in locked boxes, but I don't know if that's common practice for retail stock. It's not even very common with movies.

This means the Western Hemisphere can be on red alert for leaked copies of the game hitting the web starting the 9th, given the time difference, with increasing likelihood every twelve hours.

That's really interesting, where did you hear that? Honestly, that doesn't surprise me at all; you can really tell she had a tough time deciding what to do with it and maybe isn't as good at rearranging her own work as she is others' work.

It's too bad, too; she's one of the best musicians of our time and her talents could have been much better utilized in ways other than just asking her to rearrange one of her own battle themes. Look what she did with Tetris (Type A) in Brawl, for example; it was breathtaking.

I sure hope she has other arrangements in Smash 4 beyond just Try, Try Again. If not, that'd be an enormous waste. Also looking forward to seeing what Yasunori Mitsuda did for this game; hopefully not just another Pikmin track!
 
meh, I don't care that much if leaks are real or not, we just have to wait a week to finally know what is the real content, I am more interested in the possibility of cancelable aerials on the demo than anything else, dunno if that was proven fake, hopefully not

Don't know, confused just like you. I'm thinking it acts like Luigi's new Final Smash in a way, and the final hit has Dedede releasing a bomb out of his hammer for whomever he trapped. Unfortunately we need to see it in motion.

You'd be surprised how extreme some of the VS matches requirements were in Melee.
 
unless that was made as a joke like "lol here's a character bigger than ridley ha ha get it ridley is big!!!!" i'm almost tempted to believe that the andross pic is so absurd it has to be real

I don't think any of us were serious haha, it was just one of the more entertaining/interesting parts of the discussion since we know you from here and it was kind of a boring week.

Plus, worst case scenario, you'd only have to be in ghost mode for a few days, especially if the game gets leaked.

After doing a reverse search on google, it was posted a while back so I'm assuming it's a fake.
 
Ugh, if the speculation about Dedede's new final smash is new then it's a huge disappointment. For all of the flak Sakurai gets for bias towards his own series, it's a shame that he can't do his own characters justice besides Kirby. This will mark the second game where Meta Knight has a moveset over half of which doesn't come from any game and is just made up, and Dedede has a fair number of original moves that similarly seem poorly thought up. I guess now I know how Ganondorf fans feel.

If anyone has this image of Dedede's final smash... can you leak it or is it a scan?

They made unlocking everyone rather easy for me lol. Turn off pausing, 3 vs 1 teams with 2lv 9 cpu vs a level 1 cpu with damage ratio set to high. Just press start over and over while watching tv.

It's a scan. Search "『スマブラ for 3DS』ガイドブック" on Google, it should be the first result. It is a real booklet, it's not speculation.

Yeah, though every character usually has 2 or 3 ways to unlock. Every character in Melee could be unlocked via playing many VS matches, though they were unreasonably high somewhat. For example, to unlock Luigi, you needed to play 800 VS matches. However, you could easily unlock him in Adventure Mode much faster.

Honest question, I've played a good amount of Kirby games but it's not my favorite series or anything: What moves you give them? The only thing I can think of is that Meta Knoght should probably have his PM down air.

I think Mewtwo was 1,000 matches in melee. So insane.

Haha getting luigi to appear when finishing with a 2 was a neat trick and having to beat Him and peach(daisy occasionally) within 30 seconds.

For solo players, that's probably faster (albeit more boring) than playing for twenty hours to unlock him.

Set the stocks to 1, the damage multiplier to max, and then just use Ness and throw people off the stage.
