Super Smash Bros. for 3DS & Wii U Thread XV: Kübler-Ross Edition

Not having something as simple/pivotal as the dash dance is...troubling, to say the least. I guarantee you that those at the invitational brought it up to the Nintendo reps who asked for critique. It was one of the main things they made sure to hound them on. I wonder why it went by ignored.

Zelda new move confirmed to not be good lol.

(Not being serious based on that comment but even despite that from what I saw of it in videos it didn't look like it was a good move to begin with).

Dash dancing is never coming back as it was in Melee

I guarantee all the feedback they were taking was never once considered by the dev team. They probably never even saw any of that stuff.

That sucks. They should've done something like Persona Arena and have a quick tap be a close range slash, and holding down b launches the phantom.

Maybe some costumes are unlockable? It is a demo so if some are then they would be inaccessible.

Or, maybe he doesn't have enough time to sift through all of them?
 
Im still gunna play the hell out of this game but not having good dash dancing makes me sad, the inbetween brawl and melee floatiness is om with me.

I was curious if he actually look through all colors because if he did then it could meant that some characters only get 8 colors or alt colors/costumes are being unlockable.
 
Hey, does anyone remember when I first put this avatar on/ the day of the video of the shulk and bowser jr leaking?

I'm really eager to see how Metal Face is implemented in this game, especially after reaching THIS MOMENT in Xenoblade Chronicles last night (after the mines under Colony 6, so still first half of the game).

Metal Face seriously has some of the best voice acting of any villain in any game I've played. So sinister, and so much personality. :-)

I'm going to reserve judgment on Dark Pit until we see how he plays. I agree Alph could've made a neat clone, though, since it would've been a way to incorporate the Rock Pikmin.
 
What if one day we got a Pokemon Stadium stage based off of N64's Pokemon Stadium with that announcer non-stop talking. That would be cool...for a couple hours

Alright, I'm wrong. Sakurai specifically said that we are getting 8 colors each characters.

«Until now, you were only able to choose from four, or sometimes five or six colors for each character. This time, though, all characters have eight colors to choose from! The first four color schemes for Samus are based off her Varia Suit, Fusion Suit, Gravity Suit from Super Metroid, and the Dark Suit.» 03.Sep.2014

So I guess it's possible that some of colors and alt costumes are unlockable.
 
I imagine Ganondorf and Captain Falcon are Sakurai's favorites because the very first playable character in the prototype for Smash Bros had Captain Falcon's moveset. He probably has a lot of sentimental feelings towards it.
