Everything I've seen about this game has made me want it less, but this piece of misogynistic garbage is the last straw. Definitely not buying.

I don't know what kind of 'humour' that video was going for, but I wouldn't sully the Monkey Island games by associating them with it.

I'm familiar with the tune and many of the different lyrics that have accompanied it, but honestly don't recall these specific lyrics or any this crass (some come close, though). I'd say it's representative of a centuries-old sailor shanty, but it seems like something someone on the dev team wrote for shits and giggles, and I don't see it going over well with some people, especially with how tumultuous the industry has been lately.

That said, the attempt at humor doesn't help cover up the stiff animations and washed out graphics, even acknowledging the game's last-gen origins and probably small budget. I saw another trailer or two and wasn't interested before, and this really isn't helping.

I don't know. I have a feeling this game will try to do a lot of ambitious stuff and fall flat on just about every aspect. I'm predicting a review thread on GAF will be GOAT, but not the game itself.
